I don’t know which version, I don’t play all the time, but Zoey is ALWAYS cleaned now. They just literally don’t do anything else but sweep the floor. Even if I prefer Zoey not to like cleaning, they don’t care. Now each member of the family cleans up, literally sequentially several times in a row.
Even I have a family like that.
Are you using any mods? Also if you don’t mind sharing your PC specs, it helps tremendously when it comes to troubleshooting.
Even the children keeps rubbing the bath tub over and over… It’s crazy

The problem is that this is my main family and they haven’t done this before. A couple of times a day at most, someone who loves cleaning, but now they seem to have gone crazy and are only doing what they are cleaning lol

No, I have this setting disabled.
Remove all displayed souvenirs, statues, artifacts, shells, and everything you placed for decoration from the lot. This helped me.
I have the same issue with the non-stop cleaning. With the non-stop cleaning, it gave me two other issues: 1. The zoi would clean the bathroom even when someone was inside bathing, showering or using the can, then they would get flustered. 2. The house (I had 6 zois) never got clean, even when I forced all 6 to clean at the same itme. The bar blue bar stayed half-way. However, I noticed when hovering over other households on the map, Zois with 1 person seemed to have a full bar and zois with larger families had a lower bar… so I suppose there is some rule happening about that. Nonetheless, if I am correct, I hope it doesn’t stay that way because it seems unfair. A clean home is a clean home, no matter how many people live there.
There is still a massive issue with food out and decorative items… If there is a nice plate of cookies out for the kids or a family serving of a meal for when they get home from school the house cleanliness bar is shot .. If you have curtains, rugs, small planters that are decoration, or actual decoration or clutter on the counters to make it look better your zoi will NEVER stop doing anything but cleaning cause decoration is garbage and makes the house filthy … food even if perfect is garbage and makes the house dirty… if you find a cool fish you want to keep in a tank that makes the house filthy … if you decide you want to collect gems and buy a display case your house will be filthy you are not allowed to have nice things or prepared snacks, drinks or meals out cause that is filthy and the zoi will never get the house clean ever no matter how much they clean the Clean tub and clean dishwasher and now counters should be disabled like furniture refurbishing until it needs done like they do with the shower so they cannot constantly clean the tub “though trying to refurbish a corner counter or a counter island with chairs you cannot do until you go into buy mode and move the chairs out of the way”… but instead of removing the constant clean the tub that is there they added more useless clean the counter interactions that ramp up the cleaning 100% from the annoying constant cleaning it was… I set out a counter on the beach to hold a ramen machine for when the stands are closed now you can’t even get to the ramen cause there are 20 zoi lined up to clean the stupid counter that is not dirty and clean it over and over and over and over again and then clean it again Cleaning is a BUG in the game and should be disabled unless something NEEDS cleaning and the decorations and fish and gems and all the cute clutter should NEVER have been attached to the cleanliness of the home One day I hope they finally realize this is the most annoying thing in the whole game and is why people stop playing it all together the obsessive cleaning and never being able to play a slob who likes a dirty house without the nagging cat that you want to crawl through the screen and gag… the same nagging relationship cat they tries to force you to make everyone a business partner bff love of your life so you can’t have different friendships not everyone is worthy of being a business partner especially if you don’t own and never will own a business and not everyone is a bff otherwise the relationship is not special I really wish that nagging cat would be deleted and let us have a simple acquaintance… just like I want to be able to play a slob that never wants to clean the house and only gets a roommate so they can keep it clean for them, can’t play those kind of zoi since the cleaning is so obsessive and now even moreso with the counter obsession since the update added cleaning counters
