My Zois have to clean 3-4 times per day but it gets dirty really quickly.
@agusya not sure about several times a day but what I have noticed after the patch is that the house is dirty the next morning even though my Zoi has cleaned it the day before.
I normally have cleaning as a routine for my Zois every morning and before the patch the house was never getting dirty if cleaned once a day. Now it does.
@agusya now after testing a bit more: I would say you have to clean at least 2 times a day if you want to have your house clean… This is definitely much more than before. I don’t understand why this was changed. I really think that once a day or even every 2 days would have been totally fine. 2-3 times a day is definitely too much 
Have you tried going to edit city /manage city/city sanitation and adjusting the slider up to suit as this makes it slower or faster the city and your house gets dirty
@Robert Not yet, it sits exactly as it was before the update. So that means that the time until everything gets dirty has been reduced with the update. I had the slider in the middle before and now as well and there is a significant change vs. before the update.
The most strange thing is that the cleaning and the rate at which the house gets dirty is mentioned in the patch notes for the update:
As it is described here you would rather think that now cleaning is not needed so often anymore. So the opposite of what is happening. They are stating this should be every 2-3 days and it is rather 2-3 times a day now.
The more I think of it and seeing how it is described in the patch notes - it must be a bug. The opposite of what should happen per patch notes is the case.
It’s quite interesting, because I started a new game with an adult Zoi and a toddler and I’m four days in game (one day is 96 mins for me). And I had to clean the house only once so far and that was on day two midday 
@Minthyuyu This is interesting indeed. I am also on 96 min day but playing in an old save.
So maybe only old saves are affected by this bug?
@agusya is your save an old one or a new one after the update?

And high level of city cleaning doesn’t help unfortunately
I have two issues with this. I have my settings set to high (which I hope means stays clean longer 
), and I clean my house once a day; However, my washing machine and toilets get dirty after every use. This was occurring before the latest update, but wasn’t fixed with the update to cleaning. I also created a new family and added them in the world. When I went to visit their house 6 hours later, their house was completely covered with dirt. I could see their dirty beds through the window .
same here after a day i see dust this needs to be more relaistic
@PinkPassion I think this you only can get rid off when cleaning outside as well with the broom for example. Either way it is way to fast and it is not every 2-3 days as the patch notes say. This should be fixed.
@PinkPassion Just tested this as well. Unfortunately this does not help anymore. Even after cleaning 3 times in a row outside the roof remains dirty…
I’ve contracted a house keeper to clean the house in the morning for 2 hours. My zoi went to work and when she got back everything was dirty.
It even happens that I clean the kitchen and the if I go back a minute or two later is dirty again. This is crazy. I even have dirt on the celling.
@sebah.blade yes, this is a very annoying situation and it is impossible to get rid of the dirty roofs at all anymore. This really needs to be fixed and is the opposite of what was promised with the update…
Ngl, when I first saw it, I thought it was a result of living near the beach. This is the first time I’ve ever lived on this lot. I don’t usually build, but I’m adding on to the house as my zois earn more money and noticed the roof.
But yeah, I tried cleaning outside and it stays there.
