This game is sorely lacking in the random chaos dept!

Don’t get me wrong, I absolutely love InZOI, but there is room for improvement. I’m a long time Sims player, and part of what made that franchise fun to play (at least in my opinion) was the spontaneous drama and unpredictable silliness (especially in The Sims 2).

You could be at a club when all of a sudden two sims start arguing and get into a fist fight, or a couple breaking up and calling it quits out of the blue, or your sim’s house catching on fire and the firemen showing up to do a dance while their house burns to the ground, or your sims going outside during a storm and getting struck by lightning. Lol Those are just a few examples.

So far, I haven’t noticed anything like this in Inzoi. I also haven’t seen much in the way of unique quirkiness or individuality that sets your Zoi apart from the rest. I realize that the game is still in early access and new features are frequently being added, so I’m going to be patient and see if Kjun will implement any of these things in some of the upcoming future updates.

Oh, and one more thing - the ability to add custom music. We need it! The in-game music is fine, but I want to personalize my game with custom music as well, and at the moment, it is not an option.

Thanks!

Personally I’m not into THAT much randomness such as a fireman break dancing with the house burning down. I do appreciate inzois realism however I would like more drama such as zois fist fighting or proposal gone wrong. More drama in the streets would make the game interesting to play instead of doing the same mundane tasks each day.

i agree with this 100% the game really needs to emphasise choas and drama with REAL consequences alot of life is out with our control this needs to be refelcted in the game along with exploring the darker and tragic parts of life i do not want this game to be a cozy doll house simulator we have enough of them and Inzoi has the opportunity to give life sim players more mature gameplay and content something many have us have wanted for years

I agree, though I’d not like the firemen coming to dance, I’d like to see more chaos.

Fights without the police running after everyone, a thief running on the streets with a bag from one of the stores and police following them, a Zoi that needs to be rescued because they’re drowning, a random Zoi that didn’t reach the bathroom and had a little accident. A marriage gone wrong, people getting too comfortable at the club, a storm that made power fail, someone with low cooking skill setting the kitchen on fire, a random flood and kids playing in the rain, someone that ate spoiled food and needs to rush to the bathroom.

So many things can be done to add a little more chaos to the world. Also not everything needs to be punished with jail, only crime. People fighting or punching a machine should not be cause of police, let Zois react to those actions, maybe someone punches the machine and someone else confronts the Zoi and they end up fighting.

A little chaos makes the world alive.

Since I played a lot of The Sims 1 and 2 while growing up, I also miss the unpredictability while watching my Zois, where everything ends up being scripted, even the robbery, which in my case was canceled because another event was happening at the same time :frowning:, the robbery could have adapted to the party situation and robbed the Zois that were at the party or had a collective fight with the thief and not let him escape until the police arrived, I miss things happening that we players don’t foresee.

There was a situation that occurred that I found funny and liked because I didn’t expect it to happen and it could happen more often, I went to the kitchen to drink water and when I came back to the game, my Zoi was arrested for some crime he committed, to this day I don’t know exactly what he did because it’s not informed or ends up being vague about the crime committed but it was interesting for something to happen that I didn’t predict and it would be great to see more unexpected situations.

I would like it to be more punitive, to have consequences that impacted our gameplay, for example, if your Zoi has less than 1,000 miaus, your Zoi should find a way to get the money, whether by working, selling something or taking out a loan and not have city council assistance, only receive money from natural disaster insurance, if you have contracted insurance, which makes sense to have the mechanic of taking out insurance, like the loan one, which at the moment hasn’t had much usefulness, because the mechanic is there but since it has conveniences like that, it ends up losing its meaning and this happens at several points in the game.

Another example, the question of hiring a babysitter, it could not be hired automatically when we leave the house, instead of hiring automatically, a warning would appear saying that if you leave, you will leave your child alone and we recommend hiring a babysitter, if the player ignores the warning and doesn’t return home within 3 hours, a neighbor will report the abandonment to the police, and the father or mother would have to go to the police station to get their child and if it happens again, there could be a trial if you would lose custody of the child and they would enter adoption or have to take a parenting course, and only then would you get your child back.

In case of infidelity in the game, it could according to the personality of the Zoi, if they discovered an infidelity, their reaction would be different, whether it’s a slap in the face, throwing water or juice, crying in hiding or even getting revenge, not just cheating with another Zoi, but getting revenge with some situation that would harm the cheating Zoi, like posting the infidelity on social media and other Zois NPCs would react to this fact when they saw the cheating Zoi with disapproval or some who support it. It would be very interesting to see. If anyone else remembers any more situations like that, please write it here too.

Oh, I forgot, about custom songs, Kjun had mentioned that they would do that, but I don’t remember exactly when it was said.

Anyway, those were some situations I thought of, sorry for the long text, and if you agree or disagree with any of these suggestions or even complement with more ideas, comment here :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

I disagree, I think the good thing about InZOI is that it is not whimsy and childish like the sims, and that it doesnt have that random amount of chaos (which in sims 4 is often more bugs than planned chaos), BUT I do agree with you so much on the ability to add custom music, I’d love that! Also, would be lovely to be able to add custom CaZ backgrounds!

I don’t like chaos, so I hope that if more unpredictable elements are introduced they can be controlled with sliders.

I play with the maximum level of city cleanliness, fire prevention, and safe city

Every day of life is full of chaotic moments and random silliness. Both can be included in Inzoi within reason while retaining the element of realness.

Precisely, it would add another element to the game and reduce some of the boring predictability.

lol even if you played with city safety all the way down nothing would happen

Sliders are broken right now

I would also like to see zois engaging in dumb behavior. In the sims they would go streaking. But for inzoi it would be funny to have zois running around in robes or towels and get ticketed for indecent exposure

ah, ok, so that should be fixed then.

Yes, it’s a great idea, but dancing firefighters is too much. It should also be borne in mind that in The Sims series of games (not counting The Sims 4), such madness was her thing.
Inzoi, with her seriousness, wouldn’t do that. You will need to come up with chaos, but with an emphasis on realism.
