Can't do anything with Toddler

After 2 days of becoming a Toddler I can no longer interact with the toddler. He is starving and needs a bath but I can select other Zois to interact and I can use the Toddler to select other zois but they just stare at each other and don’t do anything. I have tried doing the emergency rescue on all of them but it doesn’t help. I have even tried making a birthday cake and ‘Raising a toddler’ but still they can’t pick him up or anything. He doesn’t seem to be aging up either so I’m basically stuck :confused:

Thank you for providing the save file. I tested it on my setup and can confirm everything you’ve shared about your experience.

When I deleted the house to check if it resets the toddler, the toddler became invisible and completely bugged. I wasn’t even able to move him any longer. He’s disappeared for good. Moving the household to a different lot isn’t possible due to the age of the toddler, unfortunately.

Damn. Thank you for testing it. It’s very frustrating. Even if I could just age him up with a cheat maybe it would help, but I don’t think we can do that? :thinking:

Regardless of this bug not being able to move with a toddler needs to be changed, many people move with toddlers especially when expecting another baby for more room.

No, unfortunately a cheat for aging up any of the zois is not available for players yet. It’d truly help with the various bugs regarding toddlers and newborns :thinking:

And unfortunately also the other method with the CustomZoi cheat, saving appearance and changing age also does not work on toddlers… at least not yet…

Just tested it as we are now able to bring toddlers into CAZ but we cannot save their appearance.

I had similar issue after giving a toddler Zoi a bath. Her mother was unable to lift her out afterwards (I got the “can’t reach this” emoji) so I had her crawl out of the bath to another spot on the floor. Afterwards no one could interact with the toddler, and using emergency rescue just put her back in the bath.

My baby turned to infant yesterday and now today I can not interact with them. Everytime I try to feed or bathe the toddler my character just stands there staring at the toddler until the prompt disappears. I have tried literally everything I have seen to try. I am currently uninstalling and reinstalling as my last attempt..

Did you happen to notice if there’s a babysitter around?

If you don’t see her, going into Caz with the child and then exiting might make her appear.

I had a very similar problem that I described here:

For me there was no babysitter involved. Just the family :slight_smile:

I have the same problem after the toddler bath. I can no longer interact with my toddler, and even when I leave the house, the babysitter cannot care for the toddler either. I’ve already tried throwing her out of the house and letting her move back in, but there’s no change.

I was able to solve my toddler problem after I sold the bathtub and the changing table. I was able to let my toddler go into the neighboring room, let it sleep, saved the game, exited, and reloaded it. After that, my toddler was able to look at a picture book again and my Zoi can now also interact with the toddler again, change diapers, etc.

Had the same issue happen on my save. It was seemingly random, but started after i tried to have dad bathe the toddler on the baby bathtub. I used it before many times without any issue but for some reason this time it just produced the bug and no one in the household could interact with baby anymore. I did what @n-kleinert said and deleted the changing table and bathtub and used the self interaction with the toddler to let them sleep and whey they woke the parents were able to interact again
