this year the development team made changes to how zois behave when starting a conversation.
I find this new way a little strange; sometimes my zoi will walk out of their way just to be insulted by someone. It also creates some confusion and makes it harder to determine who is flirting or being mean.
I’d love to know what you all think…

The results are currently showing 100% saying the zoi initiating the interaction should be the one to move.
I think that’s the only way that makes sense. In general, inZOI is simulating how real life works, and in real life, no one is a mind reader (despite what they may claim ). No one suddenly stops what they’re doing because they sense someone over there wants to interact with them, and this is somehow worth their effort.
@Starwing fully agree! I think it is strange that our Zois actually are already some kind of mind readers as they stop their current conversation to wait for the unknown and not yet visible other Zoi to come over and interrupt you.
I think even when the Zoi who starts the conversation should be the one to approach, the interruption of the current activity your Zoi is doing should not happen before the other Zoi has arrived and is standing right next to you.
