Adult Mods Working on Teen Zois Is a Serious Problem

Hi! I asked the AI directly about this, I showed it one of the photos, the one with the red “outfit”, it’s not that the AI is God but I agree with it:

It doesn’t seem appropriate for a classification system like inZOI’s if you’re trying to maintain a Teen category. The image shows:

  • extremely revealing clothing (minimal thong),

  • strong focus on intimate areas,

  • sexualized pose,

  • and framing centered on genitals/hips.

Although there’s no complete explicit nudity, many platforms and rating systems (ESRB Teen, PEGI 12/16 depending on context) could consider it “sexual content”, “partial nudity” or “suggestive themes” too intense for a game with a tone similar to inZOI.

To make it safer for a Teen/12+ classification:

  • use shorts, less explicit bikini or less minimal lingerie,

  • avoid close-ups of pelvis/glutes/chest,

  • reduce the sexual focus of the pose,

  • use full body shots or casual fashion,

  • avoid transparencies or details like “cameltoe”.

For a more mature category (16+/18+), it could probably pass depending on the platform’s policy and the game’s context.

I think what it’s saying is that these mods are crossing the line, and I think they shouldn’t be easily accessible to teenagers. Will they search for them anyway? We already know the answer is yes, but they should be kept out of mainstream circulation on other pages for example and not allowed on Canvas. Honestly, I don’t know how you’d do it, but they shouldn’t be there.

Best regards

Hello, I would agree if it were for pre-teens, but we need to stop this certain puritanism. There are teenage girls who have both modest and fuller chests, the same goes for buttocks—body types can be very different from one teenager to another. Moreover, they sometimes dress to shock or to imitate adults, so there’s no point in restricting how we depict their body types or clothing. Why feel uncomfortable seeing teenagers with body shapes close to those of adults? And the same for their clothing… In real life, they’re not as well-behaved when it comes to how they dress… Personally, all of this doesn’t shock me, but what shocks me more is seeing people of middle age with such marked features—they look almost like elderly people except for their hair color and posture. A middle-aged person doesn’t necessarily have lots of wrinkles and sagging skin, and elderly people don’t all have a hunched posture…

I’m also surprised why middle-aged people look like old men? In the real world, they might have very few wrinkles. And they definitely don’t stoop like men in their 80s.
Look at Jennifer Lopez. She’s 56

Seriously how teenagers being convicted as adults has anything to do with this post? So if they can go to jail you can put sexual clothing in them??

What you’re saying might be true but teens aren’t children. The people you call children are using drugs. And Do you think teens don’t know about sexuality?

Teens shouldn’t use drugs? How is that an argument? Does that make you an adult? I don’t know how to explain this to you but yes, teenagers aren’t adult. Their brains and bodies are not developed. If you don’t consider teenagers children, then that a weird and concerning thought process.

I support your words! I’ve also encountered quite a few teenagers in life who looked completely like adults. Real teenagers can also have “adult” body shapes: large breasts and buttocks. We’re all different. Or should we simply cross out people with that body type? And teenagers can also dress provocatively — in fact, it’s even typical for them. So why limit this in a game? I’ve never thought about teenagers in the game in the context people are discussing here, but such restrictions really do look “puritanical.” Maybe we should dress all teenagers in floor-length dresses so that no one’s strict gaze sees anything? And I’m 100% sure that people who want to expose teenagers in a game will find a way to do it anyway.

And someone wrote here that a teenager in the game is an age from 12 years old. What? In the game, teenagers look like 16-17 year olds, but definitely not 12. 12 is early adolescence and there isn’t such an age stage in the game yet. And such an age would indeed need protection.

Don’t turn the game into a code of moral rules. Reasonable people understand everything just fine on their own, and restrictions won’t stop the rest.

@Moooody, @Mazikeen my dear friends! I understand your concern about this issue, but honestly - it’s not worth resorting to rudeness! :folded_hands:

After all, we all have different views, if only because we’ve gathered here from completely different countries. What some consider unacceptable - others see on the street almost every day and consider it normal.

As an example, you can always take the customs of strict Muslim countries, where any exposure of anything on a girl, except her face and hands (and even that subject to the male part of the family’s discretion) can be considered something provocative, and a nudist beach somewhere in European countries.

So please, be kind and respectful to each other. Discuss the game, not each other’s personal qualities :folded_hands:

I never expected you to play the role of mediator my friend. But i unfortunately disagree with the person who brought up the topic.

You can disagree with ideas. But that doesn’t apply to the personality of the person we’re communicating with, right?

We also need to take into account the nuances of translation — some words said as a joke or for “wit” can be mistranslated — and as a result, something truly offensive to the other person comes out. So we need to be very, very gentle so that no matter how we’re translated, we’re always understood correctly! :innocent: :folded_hands:

But this wasn’t a joke. I’m serious about my opinions.A person should know what they are saying.

And yet I would ask you not to speak that way. Please! :folded_hands:

Believe me, as a psychologist, I can say with complete certainty that this has absolutely nothing to do with psychiatry

If we’re being serious about it, we’re all not quite normal here  Because instead of living our own lives, we adults are sitting here discussing a doll game  So let’s not hand out diagnoses, otherwise we’ll all have to admit that something’s wrong with us. Let’s try to believe instead that we’re all normal. Simply, as I’ve already said, everyone has their own view on various things.

As a character from an old Soviet cartoon once said, an anthropomorphic cat: “Guys, let’s live in harmony!”

Peace and love to everyone! :innocent: :folded_hands:

Thank you for your kindness and your POV, I agree a lot with this sentiment.

You can’t hand out “blue bead” to everyone my friend. You must have met someone you were incompatible with. Are you seriously a psychologist? It’s impossible to get along well with everyone.

Here, on the forum, I’m not acting in the role of a psychologist. God forbid I start mixing work and leisure

I’m speaking exclusively about the fact that I haven’t seen a single message from any forum participant that would suggest they need psychiatric consultation. I repeat: psychiatric, not psychological.

Yes, we can disagree with some people — both here and in life. But there are always points of connection. For example, someone loves football, and someone else loves knitting, and they can’t stand each other’s interests. But if both of them adore InZOI, then as long as they’re talking about this game without touching on contentious topics — peace and harmony can easily reign between them :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ll repeat: the fact that we disagree with another person’s opinion regarding aspects of the game in no way suggests that we wouldn’t find a bunch of other common interests if the conversation turned to something else. That’s why you should never judge a person without knowing them as an individual, based solely on differences in our views on some issue.

P.S. and yes, of course, there are in real life people with whom I can’t find any common ground at all. Primarily because I’m absolutely unnecessary in their lives in any capacity  But I haven’t encountered such people here. If you look at the other threads — @Moooody offers a huge number of topics that I completely agree with. So why should I condemn him for the fact that we partially diverge in our views on this specific question?

By the way, note: we all three actually agree that excessive teenage sexualization — is not very good. The only thing we disagreed on — is our views on how this should be protected against in the game: by modifying CC creation tools, or through moderation, where users, upon encountering inappropriate creations in public access, would report them themselves. That’s all. We don’t see the situation so differently, when you think about it, do we?

This is the only solution to this problem. To change the height of Adolescent’s. A child aged 12-15 cannot have the same height and body size as an adult. For teens only “body slimming” procedures are sufficient. Extremely conservative views should be avoided.

Actually yes, all three of us agree on that just differently, which is indeed a very mature way of seeing things. And thank you for trying to see things from my point of view Carnel, or at least from a point of understanding.

Adolescents = child

Teens = not a child

I keep the two separate. That’s my opinion.
