Vacations should mean Vacation, not Realocation

I just tried going on vacations for the first time. I live in Dowon and selected Cahaya. I’m on vacations… and have to move to an empty lot and build a house? While there is a full blown resort on the left side of the map?

So my suggestion is pretty simple: be able to rent rooms in the resort or just rent a house, or even a room inside another’s family house. Something that really makes me feel I’m travelling and not moving out of my house.

Hotel System

There is a hotel in Bliss Bay but they’re not usable. I would really like to have hotels be a normal part of Bliss Bay and Dowon where you don’t have to be on a vacation/holiday to enjoy them. As a part of the system, seeing NPCS occupying these hotel rooms and not having a place to stay because everything is booked. Travel, visit and go on Vacation to other cities without having to relocate your family

Zoi households are stuck in the city you select without being able to visit other cities unless you relocate. This is really annoying. Travelling to another city is only for rich Zois as you need to have enough money to purchase a property in another location and you leave the storyline you have developed behind. You basically start from scratch. Would be cool if you were able to go on vacation to other cities without having to full commit to a whole new storyline. There could be vacation rent…

It’s been planned ever since the Cahaya update was first introduced. Hotels are on the roadmap for later this year, so I’m hoping that will include the ability to stay in hotels in a different city.

This is one of the basics that Kjun talked about as being worked on and coming later this year but I want to support this thread because I believe it is important that we keep talking about it. I hope we get an update about the state of this soon, perhaps in one of the friday videos

I agree. The relocation system and the vacation system should be different things.

I agree too because I wanted to go on a family vacation, and it moved me into a different house (Relocated).
