Multiplayer

They just announced that multiplayer is coming soon!!

I don’t think there’s been a specific date for the planned multiplayer feature, but for some reason, I remember something about the end of the year.

I could be remembering completely wrong, but Kjun said the dev team will focus on stability until August. So hopefully, that means no new features until all the bugs are fixed. :folded_hands:

I think multiplayer could be very fun, but there are a lot of issues in the game right now, and more bugs have been introduced with the last 3 major updates. Those absolutely must be fixed, along with all other long-standing bugs, before adding more complex systems.

Developers are not wizards.

Where did they just announce about multiplayer?

Sorry for the ignorance, but I’ve been away from the game for quite a while. What were the 3 major updates? And what bugs are you referring to?

There are too many bugs for me to mention, but you’re welcome to read the Bug Reports section for all the information on bugs people have reported here. There’s also an extensive Known Issues list posted every month that doesn’t even contain all the known issues.

Or do you think this is a bug-free game?

The last three major updates were versions 0.8, 0.7, and 0.6.

I hope all that information helps you to grasp that this game isn’t ready for multiplayer yet, nor will it be anytime soon.

EDIT: If they actually did announce multiplayer coming soon, it’s going to be a mess. :grimacing: Yikes!

I’d like to play with others too, but I’d rather have a more stable single player experience with far fewer bugs.

I really wish they just focus on flashing out the single player experience. I really don’t want a multiplayer and I really don’t want other people in my game. If they end up adding the multiplayer it needs to be made optional or even a completely different application.

It almost sounded like a different application. I remember the words ā€œinZOI Online.ā€ It’s definitely going to be optional, though, and we’d most likely only be able to play one zoi when going online to play with others.
