When hovering the mouse over a wish title, its description appears. However, the time remaining until the wish is fulfilled overlays on top of the action description needed to fulfill it. Then I move the mouse to the description of Zoe’s characteristics (in this case - charisma). At this point, the time remaining until the wish is fulfilled displays through the characteristic text again, even though it has no relevance here. That’s the first issue.
And the second one - strange text when I clicked on an empty house on the map. I’ll quote it for clarity: “Since both the original text and the current translation are empty, there is no content to review or improve. Consequently, the result remains the same.” Here it seems like they just forgot to insert a description, or what could this mean?
Yes, I’ve noticed the one from your third screenshot too. Some of the texts seem to overlap. If I remember correctly, this happened after the v0.8.0 update
It’s possible it was in 0.8.0 as well. But I only discovered it now when I created a new game. I want to test the “Poseidon” store to see if the new game will reproduce the error where it’s impossible to perform work actions. Instead, I managed to stumble upon interface errors by accident
These are possible localization UI errors when space allocated in UI elements (such as dialog boxes) for text expansion across languages is not sufficient. If available, please add a “language” or “localization” tag to this bug report.
The “Poseidon” store works perfectly. I just finished playing through this career as part of testing the apocalypse challenge. ))
If you’re interested, come join us, we’ll test it together ))
Yes, I had similar thoughts that it might be a localization issue. Thanks for the tip, I added the tag.
Interestingly, today the problem that was shown in the first two screenshots (wish deadline overlapping other elements) disappeared. But the problem from the third one is still there
I just couldn’t manage to test it. I created a new game for this teenager, and it turns out he has no tasks at all - you just need to be present. Or maybe you don’t even need to do that… I have lunch there during work, chat with visitors, write in a diary… Well, just for fun I still wipe the tables and arrange the goods sometimes. They won’t even trust me to restock supplies - the option is “grayed out”! But at 10 p.m., they reliably pay the salary!
So it’s still unclear. I could even create a third game, with an adult, just to actually check…
How does it work there in general - is there a separate computer for the employee to do tasks on? I don’t have one physically in the room, neither for the adult nor for the teenager. And even the laptop that I specially “borrowed” from the neighbors doesn’t let me do anything work-related on it Although, the teenager has the laptop, and he has no tasks, as I already said…
P.S. I’m here with you, I just forgot the password, I’ll need to reset it and get back into the conversation. It’s just that there are so many trips ahead that I won’t have time for the game until fall…
I played as a young adult, not sure about teenagers. In the morning tasks would appear, 3-4 of them - wipe the table, replenish supplies, watch the counter. And after lunch too - mop the floor, replenish, and all that. To level up faster, you need to talk more with the manager about work-related topics - there’s a special section that appears at the very top of the list. Anyway, my Zoe got promoted and we quit. I didn’t check the second tier, but I suspect it’s the same thing.
Come join while you haven’t left yet )) We’re just testing the challenge rules right now ))
How strange… I only get tasks on the computer, no “mop the floor” stuff. Well, there’s also counting the revenue on the terminal, but that’s also impossible to complete. It appeared after lunch, on top of 3 more tasks that are also about the computer. I realized the day was completely lost, so I didn’t bother saving Although I wrote about it in another thread. Maybe different tasks show up each time? Then I’ll try again later. I’ll have a “day of shame”, and after that, maybe something doable will come up.
Wait, what level are you on? We were only on the first one, there are no computers there. I probably should have stayed further to check it out. But for the challenge, it wasn’t necessary
I’m starting from scratch too. Zoy somehow got himself hired there on his own, so I figured it was fate and worth a try. But it didn’t work out
I already did, thanks! Managed to pull it from cache after all. So if anything comes up — it’s better to discuss this topic over there, since this thread is really about the interface issue, and the glitches are a separate thread
