Good morning everyone. The graphics in CAZ mode (where you create a character) are very nice and realistic, but in “live” mode the characters look a bit cartoonish and unrealistic. Is this really the way the game is currently? Or are there some graphics settings that can help me? (I should point out that I already have them set to the best possible setting and that I have a very high-performance PC.) In any case, I really hope they can improve these graphics. Also, I don’t know if it’s the same for you, but when evening falls, even with the lights on and lots of lamps, it’s always dark, both outside and inside, and during the day there’s a lot of yellowish light. Will these graphics/brightness settings improve them? Thanks everyone for your attention
If you’re not specifying your computer configuration, then at least show screenshots so we can see if it looks similar to what other players have in the game. Otherwise, no one will be able to tell if there’s a lighting issue or if everyone else sees the same thing
Various lighting issues (and differences between engine upgrades) have been discussed in the following threads. Feel free to read through them and add your opinion too
We don’t need “proof”, no one doubts that’s how things are. It’s just needed as an example. Or maybe you actually have the same situation as in the examples that @HeinziDerHeld provided?
Hello there! It can be a bit too much to write them every time so I understand, maybe we could create a wishlisht to ask for the specs to automatically get saved and added to our posts? I don’t know if it’s feasible but I sure hope it is
Can I ask you in what graphic moode you play? (Ultra, Medium etc). Zois change or “downgrade” in LiveMode to ensure better optimization and it can be more obvious the lower the graphics, but also devs have been working consinstently in minimizing the differences in quality between CaZ and live mode.
While you get a more official response, here are some things that might be worth trying:
Ultra preset if your specs allow it
Testing Hardware Ray Tracing ON and OFF
Testing different Global Illumination settings
Ensuring SSGI isn’t disabled
Hopefully the team continues refining it, because CAZ is gorgeous and it would be great if Live Mode matched it even more closely.
I didn’t think anyone would need proof, but I grasped the reason correctly. I said “as evidence of what was reported” — that is, to show you what I mean
