Nobody is pressuring you, I don’t even know what you are saying. My opinion is that you are acting rude (even now) and it won’t change.
If you think you’re not, so be it.

I’d say you come off as a little blunt that’s why ![]()
I treat you the same way you treating me right . polite = polite
Yes that’s just how i am. I have no disrespectful comments towards anyone. However my comments are clear and straightforward.
Blunt is an understatement. I am not disrespecting you, I am calling you out on your disrespect. If you cannot what’s wrong with the way you talk to people, I don’t know ehat to say to you.
This is my last reply since you clearly lack any ounce of self-awareness.
Hi @Mazikeen ,
I am happy @wonyoung took the time to come to the forums and share their ideas in such detail, as this is something we do out of love for the game.
Sometimes we can disagree or not care much for a wishlist, but things like what you have said might discourage participation, please be mindful and if you do not like or agree with a thread either say this politely or entirely ignore the thread.
@wonyoung I like your idea about Kpop idols and standards, I think it would add to gameplay a lot.
Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot ![]()
I’m already stating it politely. Do you see any disrespect in my comment? Everyone is free to say “I disagree” “I agree” or “It could be like this” right? Then there’s no problem with my comment. I love you too you’re a good friend. ![]()
Thank you so much ![]()
Yes, you can share your opinions and say your agreements/disagreements but this isn’t really “disagreeing” you know what I mean?
It’s rude/blunt in some type of way but regardless thank you for sharing your opinion
I’ve already stated the point i disagree with. There’s nothing to make a big deal out of this? ![]()
“Rude” is completely wrong. I’m not rude to anyone. But “blunt” might be more accurate. ![]()
Aaah, then I remembered it correctly, thanks. I wouldn’t mind a dlc for that. And as an optional dlc, it would benefit both sides for those, who don’t want those mechanics. Plus, maybe some other fame careers that could play with those mechanics (model, actor, etc.).
Okay you are right and 4 other people are wrong
![]()
Some may agree with the ideas. Others may disagree. Just because the majority agrees, does that mean the minority will agree too?
If everyone agreed we would all be “uniform” people. Don’t you think so too?
Thank you so much for sharing these great ideas for future K-Pop Idol career improvements. I’d really love to see the more realistic, quite strict approach to an idol dating and how complicated this can be, just like @wonyoung suggested. Also the additional ideas from @Muffin are great possible additions. I really hope as many as possible make it into the final game ![]()
About the ongoing communication issue:
This sounds cliché, but we all know everyone is constantly learning and evolving here. I think all of us can agree on that. There are a lot of cultural backgrounds coming together in this forum and it’s not always easy to navigate these threads, especially with some of the topics being dearer to our hearts than others, which is totally fine.
My friends, and yes, at this point I consider most of the people in this thread a friend tbh, intention and tone are two very different things. I’m glad all of you feel safe enough here to voice whenever a reply doesn’t sit right with you. Please continue to do so. It might be truly helpful to name the specific part of comments which offended / hurt you, while also providing an example which would’ve been suited better in your opinion. Sometimes that’s the only way to avoid further conflict in the long run.
By the way, I’m not trying to lecture any of you, so feel free to ignore my suggestion. It’s simply the only thing that came to my mind which might lead to collective learning in this case. Thank you for coming to my TED talk, guys. Have a lovely day

Thank you for your kind words! ![]()

Being “Blunt” is not disrespectful. Your perception doesn’t change anything.
You might perceive it that way due to cultural differences.
Not meaning to shut anyone up or to talk down on any discussion. But when I had a discussion in a different forum topic, I’ve been told that devs might close a post if things get too “heated”. Maybe it is better for all of us to “reset” and keep it about @wonyoung wishlist post![]()
To the topic of the wishlist: a dlc expansion of your ideas might be a good approach so people, who don’t like it, don’t need to get it and people, who want more intense idol gameplay, can have their fill. It might also be better optimised as a dlc, but I don’t know much about programming
i accept ![]()
Trainee life: I like the debut branch career option.
It can offer different challenges. Being in a group means people often run popularity polls. If you don’t work hard, others in your group could become more popular, and you being less popular could risk you being cut. Also boy/girl idol group struggle to maintain popularity as they age, so staying popular might require you to market towards a different audience as you try to stay relevant.
While going solo has you facing a public who felt you are nothing without the others, and you have to show you are more than just the cutie from a young boy/girl idol group
Strict schedules: So if it is attached to the longer work days. I just played through one day of the career and the task rotated between, singing , dancing, research, and I think one task gave me 4 hours to finish it.
I can see the game saying go to work from 0600 to 1800 (12 hour shift) and within that shift you are given free task that you can choose to complete at your leisure or not like dance, sing. But the things like:
all sound like scripted events would need to be in place. So for these, they seem more akin to what the game already has: the job interview. So these might best function as player scheduled events, you schedule it yourself, and then the events can play out.
I think this could work out b.c as a beginner the game already prompts you to sing, dance, exercise, etc. So by the time you reach the career branch of group idols or soloist, those skills would most likely be maxed already. Meaning the game could only require you to enter the office once a week, leaving you 6 empty days to schedule things like fan signing, etc to boost your fame and career since you cannot rely on a once a week visit into the office to do it.
This allows the career promotion to change to shift gameplay focus from sitting in a studio practicing, to being at a bunch of appointments you scheduled, and trying to actively expand your fanbase. ITs a subtle shift to how you play the game, but the shift keeps the career from going stale too fast.
What trainees actually do: They could spend their time training in vocals, dance, rap, language lessons, fitness, media training, weekly evaluations where the company decides if they’re improving enough to debut after they are the highest level of a trainee.
What trainees actually do: fair enough, that tracks with what is already in the game, and adds an end goal.
Company rules: Besides dating, companies could have different levels of strictness. Rules could include attending every scheduled activity, maintaining a certain public image, avoiding scandals, staying physically fit, following social media guidelines, or even having curfews depending on the company. Different companies could have different policies.
Company rules: I do think that players should be allowed to choose if they want to aspire for a pristine or negative reputation. For example in the real world some companies market you as the the angel, and others market you as a lil devil.
To keep things simple, perhaps there are only 2 companies.
Getting caught dating: I imagined it happening if you’re seen flirting, kissing, holding hands, or going on public dates. A paparazzi or gossip system could increase the chances of getting exposed, especially if you’re very famous.
Getting caught dating: Oh so no public dates either. lol that make it more fun, everything must be done in some private space. I can see an emotionally needy zoi being upset b.c you won’t kiss them unless at home or in some single use bathroom. lol
Paparazzi: So paparazzi were a little annoying in the sims 4, the biggest issue I had was they’d just walk into your home and get pictures. I feel Inzoi would need to figure out something better than that. Maybe they wait outside your home and work place for only a certain random timeframe. Their schedule could change seasonally, when spring comes it resets and randomizes, etc
This could allow you to peek out your home, document hours they are gone in your journal, and make dating plans around them.
Or going to the hair stylist allows you to disguise yourself?
Fan interactions: Fans asking for selfies and autographs, fan calls, fan sign events, receiving fan gifts or letters, livestreams where you interact with fans, and even different fan reactions depending on your reputation. If you treat fans well, your fandom grows stronger. If you repeatedly ignore fans or get into scandals, some fans may lose support you know? And walking out in public may be a hassle depending on your fame level with fans and paparazzi following your Zoi everywhere.
Fan interactions: I’d add that depending on the tyoe of fame you have, pristine or negative, will decide your fanbase.
Comeback promotions: I’d love if every comeback felt like an actual event instead of just releasing another song. The company could announce comeback dates weeks in advance, release teaser photos, concept films, highlight medleys, countdown livestreams, music video teasers, and then have you perform on music shows for several in-game days after release. Album sales, fan votes, and music show wins could determine how successful the comeback was.
Comeback promotions: This one is spanning weeks/days so I am not sure how it could work. The only system they currently have doing that is insurance, and loans, this system might actually require a new one in place or an enhancement of an existing one so progress can be tracked for longer than a day. Emotions are the only thing doing that while most task are usually required to be completed within the day.
I think that maybe an easy way to implement it is to just set the task timer for 1 day, 3days, whatever. But instead of tracking those task right on the screen like at work, these can be in a personal event calendar, the actual in game calendar, a journal, just someplace you can open and close to keep it from being intrusive.
Variety shows: I’d personally prefer them to be playable. Your answers, personality, and interactions could affect your popularity. (maybe even backlash if you do or say something wrong) But I also think there should be a rabbit hole option for players who just want to skip them.
Variety shows: I could see this being implemented like a minigame. To prevent useless wandering around and wasted time, your zoi is forced to or at the very least determined to sit for the interview. Then you are asked questions, it can appear over their head or it can be an action card. Then in our conversations the interview option should be there (similar to how new convos appear depending on what you are doing and emotions).
All the options available could add or subtract points from a total of 100, if you score under 75 you survived, if under 50, you got cooked, but anything over 75 was succuss you nailed.
I want to suggest it not be tied to personality, but tie it to the assigned reputation you choose when you joined the company, and your fan base. If you are supposed to be a negative Zoi, then leaning more into the free spirited rebel persona would give you better points, while being too nice would actually subtract points. And vice versa for the pristine persona.
If you made a lot of enemies, and say you have the malicious trait, if you are over there acting “nice” they could start a dragging campaigns against you after seeing your interview, calling you a fraud, or while you are live they call you a fraud. At some point i think they are supposed to get protest in the game. I’d slap protestors outside the studio calling you a liar. (this only happens if you were out there making enemies b.c you love the drama) lol
Public image: I think there could be a public image meter that changes based on your actions. Being respectful, attending schedules, treating fans kindly, donating to charity, and avoiding scandals would improve your image. Missing important events, getting into controversies, or repeatedly breaking company rules could hurt your reputation. Brands might hesitate to work with you, fans could lose interest, or your company could temporarily suspend activities until the controversy dies down. It would add some real strategy and drama instead of everything always going perfectly.
Public image: This sort of sounds like the reputation system fleshed out a little more.
Right now unless I go out of my way to be bad, then my reputation is not affected. Instead of making another reputation system, perhaps for an idol, stepping into the lime light could cause more actions to affect your reputation system.
We currently have, friendships, business relationships, love relationships, and a karma system. Right now the business system honestly is just the friendship system.
So maybe they could flush out this business relationship better.
could all hurt your business relations.
While
Affect your karma pushing it into terrible or best.
A zoi with good business relationships and the correct karma for their role get more brand deals. But having bad business relations, or the wrong karma requirements will make brands hesitate to work with you.
The lack of expose can hurt your fan numbers as you decline into irrelevancy. If you get caught in a major scandal, it may boost or plummet fan numbers, and like you said your company could place you on temporary suspension until the controversy dies down. I’d say those should last like a week.
Also, a lot of these ideas are based on the upcoming social media update that’s already planned. I’m mostly expanding on features the developers have already announced and imagining how they could work specifically for K-pop idols, I think the social media update could tie into things like comebacks, fan interactions, public image, brand deals, and even dating rumors really well.
Sims 4 added a social media app, but it doesn’t do anything but function as a relationship building cheat. Systems need to have meaning, and should do more than just exist so ppl can “make believe” something is happening.
It would be nice if the social media system actually meant something in game, actually offered gameplay, actually incentivized me to interact with it.
Use it for:
I am hoping Inzois social media does more than sims 4 social bunny which did nothing.
I may have gotten a little too in-depth with some of these ideas.
I just love drama and realism in my games. I think having different challenges, consequences, and memorable moments makes a life sim much more fun than everything always going perfectly. Of course, I’d want most of these features to be optional so everyone can play the way they enjoy.
I think it is better to be detailed, b.c then the devs can gain a better understanding of what you are asking for. Even if they say “we can’t do all that” they may draw inspiration from your idea to create something else. But if you never offer any detail, there is nothing for them to draw from.
Even if others say they don’t like the idea, it does not make your idea a bad one, and it can still be used for inspiration. But if you never share an idea, no one can ever see it, and then no one can ever be inspired by it. So thanks for sharing with us.
So believe it or not ( I had planned to address this at some point) I don’t want any DLC to introduce new gameplay. I would like it to stay an introduction to new worlds, maybe story lines to explore in the new worlds, or cosmetic items only.
I say this for 2 reasons:
Sims 4 suffered from the inability to expand on its content, or even connect its content b.c everything was locked in some separate DLC and each DLC needed to function as a stand alone that did not need to speak to each others content.
This is what isolated a lot of the content, pushed for a lot of the “new” UI systems instead of just updating old ones.
For example businesses and hobbies did not need a new UI, the retail system from get to work could have just been upgraded into a better feature that allowed for players to create a home business, and restaurants could have been in there too. But b.c everything was its own isolated pack, everything had to be its on stand alone system. and so the UI got bloated and everything felt isolated.
I personally think that all “gameplay content” should be released in base game updates. Then the devs can improve, update, tweak, or even better intertwine concepts without the whole EVERY DLC MUST FUNCTION ALONE rule that made sims 4 feel like a shallow mess.
It was hard, and took hands and attention away from the base game as they tried to make the Cahaya DLC. Sims 4 had this issue too, were they left the base game unintended and almost never had the time to update or expand on the expansion packs to better flesh them out.
Sims 4 kept people b.c of its expansion pack, and mods, not its base game. I would say Izoi could try switching that, keep people with your base game, and the mod community. The DLC expands your world and offers you a new world to explore which makes ppl buy in, but it doesn’t require the devs to figure out if the ability to farm faster should be locked behind a paywall or not.
