My Zoi cannot get in bed and sleep even though nothing is obstructing his path

    Steps to Reproduce: My zoi was tired and I used the quick sleep button by clicking on the energy need which prompts the zoi to find the most near by available bed to sleep. The “I cant do this” Icon with the circle and slash popped up and he immediately went to do another activity. I tried to manually move him using WASD near a bed and also clicking on the floor near by the bed before actually clicking on the bed to try and get him to sleep but I kept getting the “I cannot do this” prompt. I even deleted all items that may have been obstructing the bed and move the bed to different areas of the room and it still didnt work. My zoi is comfortable with everyone in the house and has slept with every other member in the home before the update. He cannot sleep in a single bed or a bed with a friend and is forced to sleep on the couch. Ive been using this 8 bed penthouse mod for months and have never had an issue.

Hello! I am not sure it will help, but here are some fixes you could try​:four_leaf_clover:

  1. Trigger the Emergency Rescue first
    Open the PsyCat Guide menu (located on the screen UI) and click the red Emergency Rescue button. Select the tired Zoi to teleport and reset them. Try putting them to bed manually now. (the Emergency Rescue can help with routing issues)
  2. Clear the Game’s Cache (Highly Recommended after Updates)
    Updates often corrupt local shaders and pathing files. Go to Game Options > Graphics and clear the PSO Cache. This forces the game to map objects and furniture coordinates fresh.
  3. Check the Penthouse Mod Compatibility
    If the emergency rescue works temporarily but the Zoi glitches the next time they try to sleep, the recent update broke the bed/elevator routing markers inside that custom penthouse mod. You will need to move the family out temporarily or check if the creator has uploaded a fixed, post-update version of the lot.
  4. Verify Game Files on Steam
    If the issue spreads to standard beds outside the penthouse, right-click inZOI in your Steam Library > Properties > Installed Files > Verify integrity of game files to repair any broken system scripts.
