I would like to suggest an idea for the building and lot system.
It would be great if players could expand their existing lot after purchasing it. For example, players could buy adjacent land and connect it to their current property.
This would allow players to gradually expand their home and create more space for additional buildings, larger gardens, pools, garages, guest houses, or other creative projects. Players would not have to move to a completely new lot and leave their existing home behind.
The expansion system could depend on the available space in the neighborhood, the household’s finances, or certain progression requirements. There could also be different expansion sizes to choose from.
I think this feature would make long-term gameplay with the same household more interesting and give players even more freedom when building.
What do you think about this idea? There may also be other interesting ways to design and improve a lot expansion system.
