After traveling back to Bliss Bay from Cahaya, I noticed a lot of my collection log items have disappeared.
While in Cahaya on vacation:
After returning back to Bliss Bay from vacation:
I assume the things that have disappeared were collected during the trip, however this isn’t certain.
I have exactly the same problem 
Sad as I was getting a pretty good collection
I specifically turned on the game to check this and indeed the items I collected on vacation have disappeared for me too. There’s a trace of them, but when you click on it, the blue marker disappears and there’s nothing in the description. I’m waiting for a fix because trips are a good way to collect the full collection. By the way, the collected items are in Zoi’s inventory

I really hope this gets fixed…
It seems though that with the marine collectibles it is not so strict in terms of locations like we had it for the gemstones and for fish where there was a whole bunch of stones and fish you simply was not able to get if you were not traveling to the relevant city. Here I have the impression that we likely can even get all of them at one location, cannot confirm yet fully though.
I started a new Zoi and made her scuba diver in Bliss Bay only for the moment. She now spent 2 days mainly diving and has found all but 5 marine collectibles already. From the ones she has found there is not one which is marked for Bliss Bay only, all are for Bliss Bay and Cahaya. This makes me think that we might be able to really get all of them in both cities: Bliss Bay and Cahaya.
It could still be of course that there is one or two of the very last ones which is really only available in one city. Let’s see when we have found all of them.
I don’t like how they did it this way. There used to be an incentive to travel — to collect the full collection. Now it’s gone. I hope this is a mistake or an oversight.
And also, the same thing happened to me as it did to @Noor
Everything I collected in Cahaya disappeared when I returned to Bliss Bay. 
@LeeLoo I agree, this way there is less incentive to travel and actually even the opposite of it if you want to finish the collection with the current bug. At the end you have to find all of them in your home city anyway if you want to have the full collection recognized.
