Character Studio - cursor gets stuck as fist after editing face or body.

  • Steps to Reproduce: Go into character studio and go to edit the face or body. Select and move any of the dots on the zoi while editing the face or body. Focus editing mode, basic edit or detailed edit also turn the cursor to a fist when editing.

Bug started on 9/03/2026 when creating and editing zois in the character studio. I can still edit the face and body of the zoi but clicking the points/dots when the cursor is a fist can be a bit wonky and tedious. I can click any of the points/dots on the zoi’s body or face, but once I actually drag the point/dot to change the zoi’s features, the cursor changes from a pointer to a fist and stays that way until I left click on another selectable ui element like a preset, zoi trait selection, switching between detailed edit and basic edit, etc. Note that the cursor only returns to its normal state if I left-click on another selectable ui element or right-click another selectable ui element. Leaving the character studio does not stop the bug from happeneing. It also persists when using any zoi; randomized, from canvas, or a preset (custom made or otherwise) and across a fresh install of the game.

I noticed this with the update as well. In my save, it happens after I leave CAZ, regardless of doing anything in CAZ. As soon as you right click on the mouse, the pointer turns into a fist. It will go away when you left click but as soon as you right click it comes back. Reloading makes it normal again until you need to go into CAZ.

This bug might be related to the new cursor icon which was not added to the update last minute :thinking: Because I remember having the new icon aka. a hand as cursor while playing right after the update was released. Then it suddenly turned back to normal after a relaunch.
