    • Steps to Reproduce:
      Start a new game
Pass the time and wait for other families to have kids…
      They won’t.

Good thing I checked…
I am now day 16 in this new game, my family has expended from 0 kids to 4 (see the little family icon for my family below  )

So beside my 4 kids…
No female ZOI is pregnant.
No families had any kids since the beginning of this game.
If they had babies, by my age group setting there should be newborns, toddlers and maybe even child zois on the map… There is none.

Also see my setting page below, they are set to allow pregnancy and not divorce.
So they should have gotten busy !

Please fix this. I want the other families to get busy as well.
Now my kids wont have anyone to play with, and will have to date/marry ppl from out of town !

Also my suggested fix from a reply to a friend on discord, who was concerned with overpopulation :

« Good. Maybe work on those settings.
Ppl that dont want families to reproduce on their own can just set the get pregnant OFF and done for them.
For me if I dont switch it off, I’d like for them to get on with it.
Maybe add another setting just bellow “allow pregnancy” to : “prefer large families” which is OFF by default.
If you switch it on, you’re asking for it.

Leaving support here. This really needs fixing

I noticed this too. A very unfortunate consequence of the long needed settings to keep our zois from having babies all the time =/ The new settings should somehow get improved to some extent. Maybe a clear distinction, e.g. in the Sims franchise, by giving us players the possibility to mark households as “player households” or as “NPC households”. Then the settings could be overhauled, so we can change them for either option

Unfortunately i have the same problem. :scream:

Really a pitty that this new feature comes with the bug that now the opposite is not possible anymore… really hope this gets fixed.
