Game stuttering/Delayed Response

  • Error Message: none

  • Details: game has incredible amount of stuttering and severe delayed reactions

Since the beginning this game has run beautifully on my pc on ULTRA setting. Now it stutters horribly from the opening screen onward making it unplayable.

update: I tried changing the setting to "balanced " and lowering all auto-selected options to high instead of ultra. it made a very minor difference but is still severely delayed and stuttering. Currently unplayable as it takes several seconds between each action/mouse click to respond and move to the next action.

hello @KimmiK1166_0001 :slightly_smiling_face: (disclaimer, I’m not tech-savvy), have you tried clearing the PSO cache? from options/graphics, in the advanced section clear PSO cache.

set the options to default? Let the nvidia app (if you use it) optimize the game for you?

just coming in to say me too, and that I have tried the following:

  1. dropping performance settings to very low/minimum (before, I was able to play with excellent feedback on medium.)
  2. Dropping graphics settings to low/minimum (before I could play on high/ultra with no stuttering at all.)
  3. clearing the PSO cache and regenerating it.
  4. flagging InZoi as High priority in task manager.
  5. setting InZoi to High Performance in graphics manager.
  6. giving inZoi clearance in Windows Firewall.
  7. running game as administrator.
  8. Disabling all mods.
  9. Starting a brand new game. (Note that stuttering happens even in CAZ.)
  10. Updating graphics drivers.
  11. Defragmenting my drives.
  12. Using the optimised settings in Nvidia app (it sets to high).
  13. validated game files via steam.

My GPU and CPU never go above 25% usage with high graphics and medium performance settings, and other games I play on high/ultra run perfectly today as they did a week ago, indicating this is not a hardware issue.
My issue is related to the hotfix, though; I played before it installed on the 20th and my game was great, I booted the game up yesterday after the hotfix installed, and I’ve had nothing but stuttering and dropped frames.

Am having the same issue. Prior to the hotfix InZoi ran smooth. After the hotfix the performance dropped significantly and there’s seem to be some script lag (in-game clock constantly delaying to update, interactions taking about 5-10 seconds to initiate, cars are stopping in the middle of the road and after a few seconds they teleport into the correct position, ect).
