Dear Kjun,
First, I want to say thank you for all the hard work you’ve put into InZOI. I really enjoy the game, which is why I’m writing this. I’m hoping the team can take another look at the stuttering and hitching issues that many players are experiencing, especially while driving around the city and exploring.
At first, I was convinced the problem was my PC. I spent countless hours troubleshooting because I wanted to rule out my hardware before saying it was the game. My system is well above the recommended specifications, so it should have no trouble running InZOI smoothly.
Here are some of the things I’ve already tried:
- Clean installing multiple NVIDIA drivers using DDU.
- Updating my BIOS, motherboard chipset, Intel ME, Windows, and every other driver.
- Testing different NVIDIA App and NVIDIA Control Panel settings.
- Enabling and disabling G-SYNC, V-Sync, Reflex, DLSS, Frame Generation, and different graphics presets.
- Clearing and rebuilding shader caches.
- Testing different frame rate caps and refresh rates.
- Monitoring temperatures, CPU usage, GPU usage, RAM usage, and SSD performance to make sure nothing is overheating or bottlenecking.
- Closing background programs and overlays.
- Adjusting BIOS settings and Windows power settings.
- Testing different storage locations and verifying game files.
After all of that, I still experience frequent stutters and frametime spikes while driving, entering new areas, or simply moving around the world. The audio continues playing normally, but the game freezes for a split second before continuing. It doesn’t happen because my FPS is low—I can have high FPS and still experience these hitches.
From what I’ve seen, I’m not the only player dealing with this. Many people with high-end PCs are reporting the exact same issue, which makes me believe it isn’t a hardware problem but something related to optimization, streaming assets, or shader compilation.
I truly want this game to succeed because it has so much potential. The only thing preventing me from fully enjoying it is the inconsistent stuttering. If the team could focus on improving world streaming, driving smoothness, shader compilation, and overall frame pacing, it would make a huge difference for many players.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. I genuinely appreciate all the work the team has put into InZOI, and I hope optimization becomes a major priority in future updates. I can’t wait to experience the game at its full potential.
Sincerely,
A dedicated InZOI player
