Have you already tried to run the NVIDIA app / NVIDIA experience and optimized the inZOI settings with it? This might help to tone settings down, so you can enter the game again.

Hi yes I have and it still does the same thing.

Does it behave differently when you’re starting the game through the NVIDIA app?

No it does the same thing doesn’t matter how I boot it up

Did you verify the files via Steam? Which other programs are running while you’re trying to boot up the game? Maybe you can turn a few of them off?

I did verify files. I reinstalled the game. I deleted any mod files. I clean installed my drivers. No background app is running while I load the game.

Thanks for your detailed replies :folded_hands:

Did you take a look at the GPU settings for games in general and for inZOI? It might be an issue, that some software updates rewired the booting settings and now the game uses your “small graphics card” instead of the NVIDIA one?

Hi, so it is using the correct graphics card

Thank you for reporting back :folded_hands:
Can you please try all the steps from the official crash guide ( Resolving Crash Issues After the Latest Update ), especially step 3, 4 & 6? IMHO, they’re most likely possible causes for your issue

@kiarashadow.kr , Try rolling back the NVidia driver. Keep going back as far as you can. I have RTX 4070 Ti and I still use 566.36 from Dec 2024. I found this to be the most stable driver after trying some versions in the 57x and 58x series. I do not use NVidia app, or any other graphics or FPS monitoring app.

In Windows 11 settings, set Inzoi for high graphics performance —

Settings > System > Display > Graphics

Add Inzoi executable from your steamlibrary path. Set graphics preference as High Performance.

You can also try switching the Windows 11 game mode to ON.

Settings > Gaming > Game Mode set to ON

I personally have this as OFF as I haven’t found any noticeable advantage in having this ON. It seems harmless though, so why not try.

Hey so I managed to get it to work this was the steps. It has to be done in this order

Step 1 — Full settings reset

Even if you reinstalled, these files stay behind.

Press Windows + R

Copy code:

%localappdata%

Delete the entire inZOI folder

Then also check: Documents

Delete any inZOI folder there too.

This forces the game to rebuild fresh graphics settings.

Step 2 — Force safe graphics mode on launch

In Steam → Properties → Launch Options:

Paste: -windowed -noborder

This prevents the freeze when it switches resolution after the intro.

Step 3 — Disable Steam overlay

Steam:

Settings

In-Game

Untick Enable the Steam Overlay

Step 4 — Try one clean launch

Restart PC → Launch game once → wait a full minute after the intro (even if it looks frozen).

Sometimes the first boot after clearing configs is just shader compilation and looks stuck.

Step 5 — If it STILL freezes

This next one fixes a lot of Unreal Engine games:

Go to:

%localappdata%\inZOI\Saved\

Delete:

Config
