[10.23.26] More Celebrity Content Preview (Updated)

Thank you for this thoughtful follow-up, Kjun. I have to admit that at first, a celebrity-focused DLC did not really appeal to me, and Evermont seemed a little too similar to Bliss Bay. But this update genuinely changed my mind. More hills and nature, varied residents and careers already sounded promising—then you mentioned rock bands and jazz singers, and suddenly I could imagine so many stories I would love to tell. :light_blue_heart:

I would especially love gameplay about artists who are not famous yet: a struggling band playing small gigs in grungy bars, a jazz singer performing in an atmospheric café, or a singer-songwriter slowly finding an audience. Clubs, bars, theatres, rehearsal spaces and festivals would make the city feel alive. Woodland hiking areas with streams and little bridges as suggested in the comments would also give Evermont more character.

Music-related roles and businesses could add even more depth: roadies, instrument makers, backing singers and dancers, makeup or tattoo artists, photographers, and (running) food trucks (as a business) at festivals.

Most importantly, I hope fame will not come too quickly and that players can slow down or disable fame progression. For me, the best stories are found in the struggle, relationships and road towards success—not only in the celebrity lifestyle.

Thank you again for listening to the players. I had planned to skip this DLC, but your follow-up has made me genuinely interested!

One mod that I genuinely believe deserves to be integrated into the official game is Dreami – Enriched Texting and Calling.

I discovered it on Nexus Mods, and I was honestly blown away by how well it works. It allows us to exchange text messages with other AI-powered Zois, and what surprised me the most was how different and unique each conversation felt.

What impressed me even more is that the AI takes the Zoi’s context into account, including their location, what they’re doing, their personality, and their current situation. This makes the conversations feel much more natural, contextual, and believable. It doesn’t feel like we’re simply interacting with generic NPCs anymore. The Zois feel much more like actual characters with their own lives, personalities, and circumstances.

It can completely change the direction of a playthrough, bringing so much more personality and depth to the characters around us, our own Zoi, and the stories that unfold. It creates unexpected interactions and opens up so many possibilities for storytelling. Every playthrough can feel different because relationships and conversations can develop in unique and unpredictable ways.

I genuinely believe this mod has the potential to revolutionize not only the way we experience inZOI, but life simulation games as a whole. What makes it so special is that it doesn’t just make conversations more interesting; it makes characters feel like they have lives of their own. Their personalities, circumstances, and daily activities shape their interactions, creating unexpected moments, more meaningful relationships, and stories that emerge naturally rather than being entirely directed by the player. This is exactly the kind of feature that can transform a life simulation into a truly living, breathing world.

I also want to make it clear that I have absolutely no personal connection to the creator of Dreami. I’m recommending this mod purely because I believe it brings something truly exceptional to the game.

Honestly, after experiencing Dreami, even SmartZoi feels outdated in comparison. The difference it makes to the overall gameplay and the way it brings our characters to life is incredible.

I genuinely encourage the developers to try this mod for themselves. Since you’re already looking at the features modders are creating to address the game’s pain points, I truly believe Dreami deserves serious consideration for official integration. Context-aware, AI-driven social interactions like these could take inZOI’s life simulation to a whole new level, making our stories, relationships, and characters feel more alive than ever.

The music is always recorded by artists but not ‘the artists’ that people would associate and know from kpop. That would be too ambitious. ZYP, ZM, ZG or ZYBE — But modest agencies with little promotional opportunities could take the chance of gaining some exposition for themselves and their music through Inzoi. If that was the case then the members of that idol group could have their alter-ego in the game as the main NPC celebrity group in the zoi world.

Hi Kjun, thank you for continuing to listen to the community and for today’s v0.11.2 hotfix. Could I please ask for two things: more stability in how the game renders our Zois, and greater transparency about what changes with each update or hotfix?

Since the v0.11 update, I’ve once again experienced changes to how saved Zois appear (especially hair and skin colors, and sometimes facial appearance)even when I haven’t edited them. Similar issues have recurred over several months, which I’ve documented and reported repeatedly without receiving a response. At times, their appearance also seems to change between announced updates, though I don’t know why. Some players I’ve spoken with experience similar issues; others don’t. I tested v0.11.2 today, but the issue remains.

As a player and creator, this is genuinely discouraging. We spend time creating Zois and become attached to them, only to log in and find they no longer look the same. For creators, hours or even days of work can be undermined by unexpected rendering changes. It becomes difficult to reliably evaluate, preserve, or publish our creations, and previously shared Zois may no longer match their original appearance or Canvas previews. Without knowing whether these changes are temporary, adjusting our characters risks introducing further inconsistencies if the rendering is later corrected. This undermines confidence in our saved and downloaded Zois, making CAZ and gameplay difficult to enjoy. For those affected, the disruption can last weeks.

In an upcoming hotfix, could the team please address the recurring hair, skin, and character-rendering inconsistencies across different display setups? I’d also really appreciate more complete patch notes that disclose changes affecting shaders, lighting, character appearance, and other player-facing systems—not just the main fixes. If visual adjustments can happen between official patches, could those be explained too? This would help both players and the team trace when problems began.

Kjun, I would be incredibly grateful if you could bring this recurring issue directly to the attention of the appropriate development team and help make it a priority. I’m sincerely hoping it can be addressed in the next hotfix. If that’s not possible, could someone from the team at least acknowledge the issue, confirm whether it’s under investigation, and provide an estimated timeframe when available? Even that reassurance would mean a great deal.

For reference, I’ve documented the problem extensively in both my Bug Report and Technical Help threads, including screenshots, previous occurrences, hardware information, and troubleshooting. Please see my latest October 29 comments in both threads, where I confirm that the issue remains unresolved after today’s v0.11.2 hotfix despite further testing.

I understand inZOI is still in development, and I appreciate the work being done. I’m not asking for perfection, just a stable, predictable experience and clear communication when things change. Thank you for hearing me out :mending_heart:

Thank you to the developers for maintaining an ongoing dialogue with the community.

I’m not sure if this has been discussed, but I think it would be great to add new ambitions and clubs to school life alongside the fame system and the upcoming DLC. I believe that the careers of famous actors, singers, and artists often start at a young age. To put it more accurately, people usually begin singing, playing instruments, or even attending art school while they’re still young.

Right now, all our Zois who pursue creative activities are essentially self‑taught, which doesn’t feel entirely natural. Yes, they get a bit of drawing instruction at school, but that’s about it.

What if we added a club to school life where Zois could learn to play instruments, sing, and draw? For example, the Bliss Bay school already has a room with a microphone and musical instruments, so we wouldn’t need to make major changes to the building or add new rooms. There’s also an art classroom, so it would be enough to simply introduce a club that students could join.

If acting were added to InZOI, rehearsals could take place in the gym, but I’m not sure whether acting would be its own separate skill. If it’s just a performance skill, we already have the cheerleading club at school to develop that. Perhaps an acting club would also help players build Rhetoric and Charisma? It could unlock new “acting” interactions where students practice together. :sparkling_heart:

I would suggest to improve the K-Pop job.. after level 3 could it process to a professional celebrity, a real k-pop star. In the north western park in Dowon ( Plaza) is a bigger stage, where they could give a concert.. Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 19:00 to 23:00 and Monday to Thursday from 10:00 to 12:00 training in the building she was educated. 20 hours the week, more than the teacher or attorney, less then developer or profigamer.

just my 2 cents,

Thank you! :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I also think the game is missing something like a small “jungle” corner in the tropical region, or just some “wildness” if we’re talking about temperate zones. I understand that nobody will spend most of their time there, but it would be really nice to just walk through a park like that instead of a refined little square in the middle of the city, where you’re surrounded by buildings on all sides!

I suggested earlier that cities should have areas like this, somewhere off to the side of the main gameplay space. For those who just like to drive a car or scooter around, or take a walk: [04.16.26] Места для прогулок с видом от первого лица
