Game crashes when trying to load the world

  • Platform: (Windows PC Steam / Mac Steam / Mac App Store): Windows

  • Mods: (Choose one: never used / removed / active): Never Used

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…):

Windows 11
Ryzen 5600G
RTX 4060
16G RAM

  • Issue Date: 20/08/2025, after the update

  • Error Message (optional): sometimes it shows “out of video memory”

  • Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): When I try to start a new game or try to load an existing save either shows the error “out of memory” and closes, or just closes without any error, it was working fine before the update. I tried setting the video configurations to the lowest possible, tried clearing the cache on AppData\Local\InZOI and AppData\Local\InZOI, AppData\Local\NVIDIA and AppData\Local\D3DSCache. Also tried removing any mods folder in documents and steam folder.

Can you try to delete all your mods ? If after that it doesn’t work :

You have to verify this folders too and remove the mods also :

  • BlueClient/Content/Paks/~mods

  • Documents/inZOI/Saved/Mods

If either folder exists, please share all remaining mod files with us by sending a Drive link.

The mods enter in conflict since the updates unfortunately, so we have to remove them for the moment.

I had already removed those folders, I never installed any mods.

I suppose you already remove celete the folder also: AppData/Local/inZoi/webcache_4430 ?

Yes, I only have the User_data folder on AppData\Local\InZOI

Sorry, i don’t know for the moment how to fix your bug.

We have to wait unfortunately a solution by the inZOI’s staff :sad_but_relieved_face:

v0.3.6 now the game is not crashing on the load world, but it’s crashing right after selecting a lot. I still can’t play.

Have you tried verifying your gamefiles via steam or reinstalling the game?

I also made a thread with all the things that helped other players you could scroll through.

Hello @amanda_alvesribeiro do you still have problems ? Did you see the answer of Lenny ? Did you try ?
Do you still try with mods ? There is a new hotfix, so we need to know if you have still problems :slight_smile:

Hello, yes I’ve tried it. I’ve never installed any mods. I still can’t play the game.
