Details (Providing reproduction steps helps us): going to the Orao Oro Restaurant in Bliss Bay and having my Zoi order food doesn’t seem to work. The Zoi goes up to the kiosk and that interaction plays out but then the message “you cannot use this” appears on the screen. I’ll note that I did edit the lot but I didn’t change anything around the kiosk.

I am having the same issue. I didn’t edit the lot and my zoi interacts with the menu but then gets the error that it can’t be used. I have no issues with food kiosks at other locations.

Food bought from the Food Kiosks ends up scattered everywhere instead of being eaten by Zois.

I had asumed that the restaurant at the end of pier wasn’t ready yet. My zoi is constantly getting vouchers to eat there, but she can only have coffee and cake. The restaurant is closed.
I assume that of a lot of things. There were items, building etc. that were decoration when the first release came out, with updates, they’ve become playable. Now there are loads of buildings where you can see a full interior that looks playable, but aren’t.

Before the August update, there was no Ora Oro restaurant at the end of the pier near Bliss Bay Amusement Park. Developers simply added Food Kiosk, tables and chairs, couches, and some decor items, and named it all Ora Oro Cafe. Such kiosks used to always work properly. Something is wrong with them now. It’s not because the restaurant isn’t ready.

That’s true, I forgot.
I think it’s because my zois never seemed to like any of the food that the kiosks offered that they didn’t use them, beyond a coffee and some doughnuts.
Are people having trouble with the Happy Burger as well?
Rattan Basket Bakery Display Stand also don’t work as intended. Zois buy a tray of buns, put it on the table and don’t eat.

I’ve seen that with a lot of NPCs, there’s loads of food just left on the table. Staff don’t clear it up until it is rotten. I use this bug to get my zois something quick to eat. This has happened in Bliss Bay and Cahaya.
My zoi went to Golden Apple Burger today, not Happy Burger as I called it. She had a chicken salad, but didn’t like it because it had meat in it. I can’t win.

I hope this bug gets fixed soon because I really like the game.
I once had a bug in Cahaya where the ocean didn’t have a water texture. So I could look at everything on the bottom. Maybe I had to take a bunch of cool screenshots, but I completely forgot about it at that moment.

same exact issue here 
Another strange thing is my Zois got a voucher from the Orao Oro Restaurant (found out via text message), saying that it’s a seasonal promotion where a family can enjoy a dinner on the first Wednesday of every season, but when you go to the restaurant, there’s nothing to do with the ticket.
You cannot get dinner, only desserts and drinks, and often, that doesn’t even work.

My Zois also got this voucher from Ora Oro restaurant. I think this feature is not fully implemented yet. The way it is implemented now is more like a sketch than a finished restaurant. I think there should be cooks and waiters there. And that broken food ordering terminal that only gives out a piece of cake for 15 Meows should be fixed. And add dishes suitable for family dinner or a romantic dinner for two.

Welcome to the community, @rachie.will99! Another player reported something similar in bug and reports recently. The problem they had was that kiosks and the such would become useless or disappear when she downloaded a lot from The moderators replied that it is not a bug, and it’s how the game is intended to be right now (I am guessing because editing public lots is not an area that has been completely developed so it’s an unfinished feature).
I know it’s not the same issue as yours, but sadly I think the answer is the same. Public lots don’t seem to be functional if you edit, even thought the editing option is already there. Kind of like how we have ghosts but there’s not a lot you can do with them or about them since the feature is not fully developed.

I have this with the restaurant in Dowon (Sorry can’t remember what its called) I get a voucher which I can’t figure out how to use and can only get cake and drinks. Even the cheesecake and tiramisu don’t work

I had this, it freaked me out. I forgot to make a bug report.
I always deleted the vouchers because they were taking up space in my zoi’s bag.
Seems like restaurants do not currently work, except the Gaon cafe in Dowon (any others?) Hopefully they will soon have full functionality.
In the meantime, somewhere to store these useless vouchers would be helpful!

I was just thinking about suggesting this in the Wishlist. A little memory box where your Zoi can store all the tickets, vouchers, and passes (e.g., Spa Pass from Cahaya) they’ve earned through gameplay, or for other mementos. I’ve always just placed them in the house, but it gets cluttered after a while.
You can suggest it, if you’d like!

I was putting them on the table too, but a guest came and stole a ticket, a laptop, and a toy. 
Now I’ve locked the door to this room.
