  • 20250820.6849.W

  • Platform: (Windows PC Steam / Mac Steam / Mac App Store)

  • Mods: removed (I had to do a reinstall)

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (windows 11 pro 24H2, Ryzen 7 5700x3d, RTX 3060, 32GB Ram, 7 TB ):

  • 22/08/25 but been an issue for a whille

  • Not sure if this is a bug, or just something that will be developed over time. But my zoi keeps waking up at weird time of the night , the sleep bar seems to go up quite fast Eg the Zoi goes to sleep at 9PM and is awake at 1 AM and has breakfast. When i click for thezoi to go to bed they go to sleep for a few hours and the whole process repeats itself.

I wish we had a ā€˜sleep until …’ option.
IIrc we had this in the Sims 3 where we could chose ā€˜sleep until 6AM’)

This seems to happen if Zois go to bed before 10-11pm or so (I think I saw someone say they tested it and 11 pm is the cut-off time).

Happens very often, yes. +1

Still happening.

Even the option ā€œKeep Sleepingā€ does the exact opposite. It fills the sleep bar super quickly and zoi wakes up.
Re-trying the ā€œKeep Sleepingā€ just results in the Zoi waking up.

Exactly what it is, and also trying to sleep after 8am, they keep waking up.

It’s super annoying and has been that way ever since they added those routines in 0.4.5-ish.
For eating, bathing, bathroom needs, all it would need is to validate if the zoi is already over 50% in those needs and if so, just ignore the routine.

For sleeping, they just need to let the zoi sleep until either their sleep bar is full, or they have slept a continuous 6hrs.
Keep Sleeping should make the zoi sleep until you wake them up or one of their other need becomes critical.

I hope they fix that, it really is SUPER ANNOYING and the fact it’s been left unchecked for so lung is very DISAPPOINTING !
EDIT: Oh yes, they need to remove the artificial needs depletion to make them hungry at 8am-12pm-7pm, I mean come on guys… not every human is on the same internal clock.
