when my zoi is supposed to go to work, the supposed work schedule disappeared and they end up not earning money. i work as a hatching support volunteer (sea turtle conservation, 3 days/week). at first, my zoi would work for 2 days a week, after i got married my zoi’s work schedule disappeared and it became 1 day/week.

just wondering does anyone encounter work schedule issues? also my schedule would suddenly pop up random visits to beach/park, i didn’t even scheduled it in the first place.

The game automatically adjusts routines to include social or family activities, which can reduce work days.

The planner is semi-automated:
inZOI uses a system where certain events (work, appointments, leisure) are auto-generated based on the Zoi’s lifestyle choices.
If autonomy is enabled, the Zoi may schedule outings on their own, even without player input.

Volunteer jobs (like hatching support) behave differently:
These roles aren’t paid like regular jobs and have a more flexible schedule, which can be affected by other commitments.

  • Manually check the planner:
    Open the Zoi’s phone → Planner app → edit or delete unwanted events.
    You can also click on the map → “Edit Planner”.

  • Disable autonomy:
    In the game settings, turn off autonomy to prevent the Zoi from adding events on their own.

  • Re-add work days manually:
    Add the work days back into the planner to ensure the Zoi attends regularly.

  • Watch out for post-marriage bugs:
    Some players have reported bugs after marriage (e.g., missing family members or events). It’s a good idea to save before and after major life changes.

thank you for your answer! but just wondering, how do you manually add your work days? i don’t have the option to do so, or i might have missed it

  • :white_check_mark: Steps to add or modify working days
  • Open the schedule via your phone or the map.
  • Click on the ‘+’ in the desired time slot.

Choose:

  • ‘Make Event’ → to create an event (appointment, party, wedding, etc.)
  • ‘Select Location’ → to send the ZOI to a specific location (such as the workplace).

Once the event has been added:

  • You can adjust the duration using the arrows.
  • You can move the event on the timeline.
  • You can delete it if necessary 2.

When your ZOI gets a job, the working hours are automatically added to the schedule as blue bars.

You can change these hours if the employer allows it.

There are two types of jobs:

  • Active: you accompany your ZOI to work.
  • Passive: your ZOI goes alone and you do not control it during working hours.

This is very helpful, thank you! I have a question. I have a ZOI who works at the Sawara Law Firm, and she lives in Cahaya. I do not see the Sawara Law Firm as an option when selecting a location. Where can I send the ZOI so she goes to work?
