I would love to be able to add textures to children’s clothing. You can change colors, but not add textures.
I second this, but would understand if it comes with a caveat, like textures cannot be uploaded to canvas due to legal reasons. Nobody wants to see spam uploads of child Zois in explicit t-shirts.
Well yes, you’re right.
The fact that anybody would do that, the world is truly full of weirdos ![]()
I think the solution to this is for them to add a set of texture presets (checkered, polka dots, different type of cloth textures, some cute child-like prints, etc.), because I don’t want some weirdo in their basement to have +18 prints on their child zoi, even if they don’t upload them to canvas.
Up to a certain point, it was possible, with a couple of templates for girls. In fact, I had published some templates on Canvas that had been downloaded a lot (unicorns, kittens, etc.).
Then it was no longer possible, and I reported it as a bug.
I hadn’t even considered the issue of inappropriate prints.
I talked about it here:
Hello @FilmingirL , I’ll merge this thread with the existing one since it’s the same issue: Textures in children’s clothing. Thanks. ![]()
I also can’t wait until this is opened up and use AI to create cute patterns for kids ![]()
I wanted to bring this up because I think it’s so important. I really don’t understand why we can’t apply our own textures to children’s clothing. There are so many cute children’s patterns, but Zoya’s children are doomed to wear boring, almost identical dresses. Is there any problem with allowing us to apply textures to children’s clothing?
I don’t understand either. This is due to absurd conservative fallacies and paranoia.Almost everyone wants it but it’s not being done.
I think it’s wrong to deprive most people of the opportunity to make beautiful cute children’s patterns for our little Zoi’s clothes because of a few maniacs.
Instead of permanently banning those who do this , We are being deprived of child textures?
Yes!!! That was exactly my first thought! I forgot to write it! Thank you for doing that! ![]()

We are being punished because of some lunatics this is unfair.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of people with oddities here. You’re weird to me too.
But I agree that this is wrong. The forum was created so that the creator of topics gets the majority of votes for or against the topic, and developers should listen to the majority of votes, no less. If this is not the case, then why is this forum needed at all? Moreover, developers should understand that it is useless to ban - whoever wants to, will do it. In any way.
is it always going to be like this? i thought (on my own) that it was because that feature hadn’t been implemented in the game yet. in the sims i think, if i’m not mistaken, you can recolor children’s clothes and nothing happens, i know they’re not as realistic but it doesn’t matter. i support this again, that they add that feature we want to make textures for the little ones ![]()
Soft, breathable textures make a big difference in children’s clothing by keeping kids comfortable throughout the day. Choosing quality fabrics is always worth it. I also enjoy finding great savings with Lily and Bean Coupons when shopping for stylish and practical everyday essentials.
