Hi, I’m currently working on building a beach bar for Cahaya and ran into a small problem with the restroom doors, since I can’t change their permissions. At the moment, both male and female Zois can enter the opposite restroom. Since it’s a public property, I unfortunately can’t change the permissions the usual way, even if I try the cheat “editAllSite”. Is there maybe another way to set the doors “Women only” and/or “Male only” like it exists on other public site toilets?
Not currently no, I mean it doesn’t matter apart from an immersive point of view and your own preference, the bathroom need will still be satisfied, but I totally get you wanting this feature. You could use the “basic urinal” ( a stand up urinal ) in the male restroom and a “toilet” in the female as females wont use the urinal , alas the same doesn’t work the other way around hmmm, have the male restroom closer with urinals maybe ? This mechanic does exist in game as vanilla public lots are male or female only and the zoi’s will only go in their respective ones, what I did with one public lot was left the staff area and the restrooms untouched when I edited it and those permissions remained even though I edited the rest of the property. Further musings are that it would be nice to have not only more control over public lot perms but private ones too, like you can assign beds to individual zoi’s it would be good to have that option “as well” with doors, my dad is always coming in my room to watch tv or use my computer aghhh
Thanks for the tip about the urinal. I replaced the toilets in the men’s restroom — at least that way the women will only use the ladies’ room. I’ve also noticed the door dilemma with having family in your own house, and that only the head of household can change the permissions. I hope the small tweaks will be included in future updates.
