Playable [Orphanages; Schools; Jails; etc]

I have already once before put this on the wishlist back when it was on discord. But I’ll post it here again just in case some more people might see and like the idea.

Basically, I would like to see playable orphanages / foster care and an adoption system implemented into inzoi.

  1. If a zoi child’s parents die, they don’t get deleted from the world, nor be put into some adoption UI like in TheSims 4. Instead you will be able to continue playing them. Besides the following, you could also let parents decide on a godparent that will take their children should they pass away.

Playable Orphanages: Your child/teen zoi will be put into a large establishment. There will be other children, but only your original zoi(s) will be playable unless selected otherwise. Either the children all sleep in one room, or everyone has a seperate room. There will be staff (a new (life) career) to take care of them. Every now and then married couples might come in to look at a child to adopt. (you can try to do your best to be that child, or try and be as antisocial as possible to lower the chances of you being adopted) Of course there will also be children coming to the orphanage from now and then.
With that comes new dynamics (among the children + staff) and personality changes. (I’ll leave an overall overhaul of the personality system of inzoi to someone else though)

Foster Care: If the concept of orphanages might be too big, or you just want variety, foster care would also be a great addition. Your child/teen zoi is placed with a temporary or permanent foster family, a state-certified caregiver, or a group home. Again, unlike in the original family, here you only play your original zoi(s). There might also be other foster children, and you might also get adopted eventually. Here too come in new systems and personality changes.

  1. Playable Schools.

Public, Private; Elementary → MIddle → High School (depending on worlds, and their school systems of course.) Make them playable and have a societal impact. School rivalries. One school is considered “bad” (maybe because of where it is or how it looks), the other might be considered “good”, or “prestigious. Students from different schools might have prejudices against each other.
In-school fights. Different school friend-groups. Zoi’s following stereotypes—Zoi’s diverging stereotypes.
→ New (life) career “Teacher”

  1. Playable / Larger Jails (more interactions)

Large establishments housing criminals. Differently long sentences based on what was done (+ more criminal activities). Guards, deals, cells. Jail breaks, jail riots. Danger, and so on. Alliances, Groups, Enemies. Fights.
→ New (life) career (Prison Guard, and so on)

I also want to have the ability to have a child Zoi (and also an option for all child zois in a household) as the only playable Zoi(s) so that the NPCs handle all the things kids can’t do and the playable ones can have adventures.
