I get it, but we don’t have unlimited time or resources, and defending the right to transparency in all early access processes is our shared effort. I understand that personalities differ, but this community is one of the least toxic across life-sim spaces. It’s up to the company to make sure they don’t create situations like this in the first place.
Also, we can still add a couple of upvotes to the thread here: Discord
Without going overboard, MP is possible.
Not speaking to make InZOI an MMO (tho a future MMO build like this might be nice)
But allowing 4-8 players to live in the same town you do in another lot with their own family might be nice.
Think more like Diablo II. Where you play alone but can invite ppl to play with.
This is the kind of Multiplayer that would make sense.
Polls would be great when opening the game. But, I’m wondering, what is this forum for apart from bug reporting. If they’re responding to discord and not the forum adding our input here is a waste of time.
I’m not on discord and won’t be, I prefer the forum. They incentivise us to post here, but only interact with discord.
This is my impression. If I’m wrong please let me know.
Where else are they getting their player feedback data from, to come to the conclusion that a majority wanted to change to 48 hours? Clearly not Discord, obviously not these forums or Steam forums either. Some other place we as players don’t even know about? Considering Discord does seem to be the forum on which the devs are most active and engaged, extrapolating 6 votes for a change to 48 minute day length as a “majority” against 26, is somewhat bizarre. Even ignoring GD’s observation, which is a good point in itself:
Edit: It seems the devs may be changing the needs system to change dynamically depending on the duration of day chosen, so my points above are now null & void.
I hate the idea of multiplayer!
I prefer playing alone. I don’t like others interfering, nor do I enjoy interacting with them.
In fact, I sought out and found a way to play alone in GTA Online.
Really, it would be great to have surveys directly in the game!
That way, it would be guaranteed that all players have access to the opportunity to share their opinions.
I think it’s very important that we can express our opinions more openly and widely, like on Discord and here in the forum. However, many players don’t access these platforms frequently, or even at all (I myself didn’t even have a Discord account until I joined inZoi, and I used it very little; I actually found it much better when they created the forum).
So, I believe surveys directly within the game would be much more effective and fair, ensuring that all players can share their opinions.
