I love that inzoi included a clothing store, but so far it’s more or less quite limiting.
What if when the zois clicked on the clothing racks, it would take them into CAZ and you could design an outfit? Each garment will have its own price and when you leave CAZ you can pay at the register and carry the clothes home.
The clothes you purchased will be stored in the inventory. Zois should have the option to either send clothes to dresser (and therefore allow the zoi to put it on) or give as a gift so that an npc zoi will put on that outfit.
If you sent the clothes to the dresser, you can go into CAZ from the dresser and you’ll be able to dress up your zoi in the new clothes. The only clothes that you’ll see there are the ones you purchased.
To fully edit a zoi, the players would just need to use the cheat for full CAZ
It’s useful in the fact that it’ll let us have deeper storytelling and clothing stores would actually be useful.
Bonus points if the inventory rotates! So you wont have all clothes available all at once (like winter clothes should only be sold during fall and winter, ect). That way we’d need to go to the clothing store and check it from time to time.
Also, a boutie career!
Youll be able to work through the ranks like a register tender (handle the cash register and clean), shop assistant (influence guests to buy and tell them how they look in the new clothes) and finally fashion advisor (guests will pay you to design an outfit for them that they’ll then wear)
I’d like if clothing purchase options are limited by city; each store would have the items that are specific to that city, as well as any items that are not (yet) specific to a city. You can order items online, but they take time to arrive (at least a game week) whereas travelling directly there to buy it grants it instantly (but subjects you to travel costs). Either way, the point isn’t to completely limit it, just make the game feel bigger by not having one-stop shopping. Initial clothing options would not be limited (unless, maybe, an opt-in limitation could be placed, from the main menu, on clothing in CaZ), but additional changes later on would require purchasing the item in one of the cities where it is available.
Clothing stores are - I hope - not in a finished state as yet, similar to many community lots. In future I would also like to see these expanded on, with greater functionality on the clothing racks, so that we can see what outfits are on offer and choose them (rather than not have a clue what we are buying and even have to pay for them before we can try them on).
I like the fact that the outfits we buy are unique and otherwise not available in CaZ or the wardrobe unless we buy them, that makes the clothing shops have a purpose. However, it would be good if there were more choice, and we could customise outfits, at least to a point (colour, texture, etc.)
I also like the idea of themed boutiques, selling different clothing depending on location, as Gadge8eer suggests. You could buy swimwear from Cahaya for example (we already have swimwear racks in-game).
I’m hoping more features and immersive gameplay will come to shops especially the furniture store in Bliss Bay.
I would really like to see some clothing items be ‘in bulk’ where they can become sold out. In bulk items would be like 12 quantities per clothing item like jeans, basic ts etc. the selection would rotate daily of what’s available but once it’s sold out it won’t return again until later. Unless some items are ‘limited edition’ which would be tagged and tied to it being seasonal or a special item(s) built in game.
Asking associates and friends to pick out an outfit for you or get advice for a outfit based on an event.
Being able to buy outfits that can be gifted to others.
id like when our zoi leaves the caz, we cannot enter the caz for clothing anymore and instead have to actively visit a clothing store or purchase clothings online
Additionally, the clothes in the store should not be available in CAZ by default. The CAZ accessed via a clothing store should have a different selection of items. It would be an incentive to go to the clothing store otherwise players would just click change outfit instead.
