How to find your Textures Folder (To delete custom textures)

If you need to delete Custom Textures and where to find it:

  • Documents
  • inZOI
  • Creations
  • MyTextures

Inside the MyTextures folder you will find several folders (each folder has one texture - it also has a super handy thumbnail (.jpeg) so you can actually see what it is)
You can delete the folder after checking the thumbnail to make sure.
Here’s an example of one folder in MyTextures (8EBD98C5422AB62F824D46AAD35CE987) Super long file names

This is also where you would insert your own custom textures.

Tip - Do not let this folder get too big or your game might fail to load (from previous experience :joy:)

I hope this helps :custom_butterfly:

Very nice indeed, it can be a bit confusing specially at the beginning

Really annoying that all textures are saved each into ONE folder.
You cannot pool them all into the main one for example.
Unless I’m missing something?

Like I have 10 texture I made myself for my creations.
They each are in 10 separate folders.

At least it should be made so you can have all of your own textures in one folder.
Like each of the folders should be named with the ID of the author (Samuriko#001 becomes Samuriko001) and every single one of the textures I make should end-up in there. If ppl download 5 of my creation they wont have 5x the same texture repeating itself. If I used textures from 3 other creators, it should check if you have those already on your computer from other downloads you did, add or not their folder only if you don’t already have it.

Urrgh.

I thought it was strange at first too but it helps having the picture in the folder as well as the names alone for each texture might become confusing eventually - especially if you have alot of textures :custom_butterfly:

NOTE: as per Discord
:psycat_paw: I can’t find my textures that I downloaded before. Where can I find them?
As mentioned in the v0.4.0 Patch Note, MY Textures now only displays textures created directly on the player’s current device. This change was made to improve the stability of the MY Textures list. Previously, when a large number of textures created by other creators were downloaded, the list could become unstable.
However, even if previously downloaded external textures no longer appear in the MY Textures list, any items that use those textures will still function normally.:psycat_paw:
