I think it’d be cool if there was a “poses” section in Canvas, where players could share the Poses and animations they have created with the AI Pose Maker, and other players could download them to use them in their pictures, storylines, etc.
Currently the AI is great but generating poses is kind of a hit or miss, and it’s a bit difficult to get a pose right. When we have one of those eureka moments where we get the exact pose that we wanted, it would be great to be able to share!
This is a good idea. AI generally is “hit and miss” as you say, and while I have not had good results using the pose creator (hilarious, but sadly not usable), I can see in Canvas that others have had much more success.
There have definitely been a few I would have liked to download for my own use, were it possible to do so. This could be a popular feature IMO.
I’d rather they’d add a simple ingame pose maker where we can make our own poses by posing models. They are insanely easy to use by just moving the body parts in the desired position.
Even group poses are possible!
I already tried some of these out (like ‘JustSketchMe’), the problem was that by just being allowed to insert a photo (and video) ingame, they never look ingame like in the pose maker.
And I think the developers also had their struggles with making poses, when we look at the awkward and unnatural ingame poses ö.Ö’
Tbf this is what I thought the pose creator would be, this would certainly allow for more creative freedom, whilst being less janky and unreliable. Not sure that would/could be implemented, but I would honestly love such an approach.
The men’s poses are just terrible. No disrespect to the developers, but who ever stands like that? If we could pull them around for poses, that would work better.
I agree, I think it would be incredibly convenient and useful if we could share poses with seach other by adding a share AI pose” button. I enjoy the AI pose makers more than I thought I would! It’s a really cool feature and it has helped me lots making some promo pictures for my cc!
@LennyOgg I’d rather they don’t add a feature like that. On one hand, a pose maker has to be heavy on your RAM and CPU usage, and we’re already struggling with what to keep and what to sacrifice for optimization. It’s makign a game that is already heavy heavier. Second, current AI pose maker probably has some content restriction to keep things PG13. It would be very difficult to prevent player from going into “adult” territory if a pose maker is implemented.
@SmallArchangel Yes! I keep seeing some cool poses in Canvas, @itsmechiie7 managed to make some that were pretty cool the other day, wished we could just share with each other!
@LittleBrownBiscuit Absolutely agree. It’s not that they are bad per se, but they are kind of dull compared to female posible, like kind of lifeless? It’s definitely more difficult to take interesting or aesthetic pictures than with women.
I think you could share this idea on discord once they open the new thread on friday. I’d love to have a feature like this for sure, it helps further the community and also helps everyone enjoy the feature even if they are not that savvy!!!
