I know, it’s a life sim kind of thing to have all family savings available for all family members. But because Inzoi is looking so realistic, I was kinda shocked I could spend all family savings as a kid on the street.
Pocket money
So maybe as either parent, you click on the kid, and you get an option to set pocket money and the amount. So you can give them more when they get older, as a teen. It can be monthly or weekly (devs decide). But you only have to set it once, so it doesn’t get to be an ingame chore.
When you play the kid you can see their savings on the same spot as always, or above.
An alternative is a bank account where the salary of the parents is deposited, but I think that could be more of the thing to keep up with. Because maybe the family wants 2 accounts etc.

I think this is a great idea and would make the world more immersive and realistic. Kids could receive allowance from their parents as you said, maybe a weekly or monthly ammount that the players can set from a interaction using one of their parents. There could be piggy banks where kids and parents can put some money and then the kids can break it one day and use the savings for a big purchase.
These days I think there’s also debit cards for children where parents put a very limited ammount of money that the kids can spend to help them learn about finantial responsabilities, so that would be another option for inzoi!
And if we’re talking allowances, let’s add envelopes with money as holiday and birthday gifts! It’s a common practice to gift these (not only to children) in a lot of countries so I think it’d be a great addition.

Those are all great aditions.
Maybe kids can get money from parents or grandparents too if they show their good grades in school. So you have an animation where the kid shows the raport card and then the other can gift something.
It also gives the kid the possibility to spend all the money as fast as they can. Or save it. If you did the first and ask your parents for more, you can get in a fight depending on your parents values and if they are having a good or bad day. Then they can hold the money for a while or ground them. If their parents are divorced the kid can play both mom and dad for money.
When a teen gets a part time job the money goes in the same piggybank or account as the rest of the teens money.
Lastly, now a kid can enrol itself in swimming lessons. But in a new version, the parents get a message from school, that kids must learn to swim at level 1 to save themselves in a emergency and/or on holiday. Dad or mom can enrol themselves or the kid in a swimming lesson (because you sign up for 1 lesson). Other sports are optional and they depend on the kids wishes.

This would be a great addition too! I would love to have those kind of options and animations.
Also this! Besides using it in an emergency or holiday, it could help them start their own lives when they get to the young adult stage!
