Error Message:
Hello, so I used to have over 900 3d print objects in game and was told itās too much and so thatās why apparently it crashing, Iāve now removed the 3d print objects and only have installed around 300 of them is this still too much? As for mods I temporarily uninstalled my mods to see if itās the 3d print objects causing the crash, I get the out of video memory error, Iāve validated all steam files and Iāve uninstalled game and reinstalled it endless times.. Iāve rolled back my graphics drivers. Game runs fine without any mods or 3d print stuff. The crash will happen when clicking the color wheel in build mode or when placing a 3d print object. It also lags in build mods too when placing down my house
Hi there!
Could you let us know what platform you play in and what is your hardware? As you said, I think you probably have too many 3D objects, or that they are too big, so they are taxing on your GPU performance.
My specs are as follows, I have a Asus rog strix g15 with ryzen 9, rx 6800M 16gb ram and 1tb storage even though Iāve used half of that now. Windows 11. Also it canāt be that I have too many 3d stuff because I tested it and I removed more than half out of the folders and would still crash and without any mods installed. Either itās my laptop and not compatible or itās one of the 3d objects causing the crash in whicj case Iād have no clue which one, when it crashed it happened when I placed some objevt I downloaded from canvas, when I tried placing the same objevt again that I thought caused the crash it then let me place it down without crashing so as can see itās hard to know which is causing the crash to occur. All my drivers are updated, I did roll back my graphics driver also.
Oh and I also play the game through steam
I see then. I think you should be good when it comes to specs, the only thing that I can come up with is to look for the biggest or latest 3D objects you might have added in the following folder (seems to not be enough to delete them from inside the game, you have to delete them from this folder): Documents > Inzoi > AI Generated > My3DPrinter.
How to know how big a 3d object is? Do I right click on its file from the folder you said to go to? And maybe it show how big it is?
Go to that folder, click āsort by sizeā, then right click the first and the last archive and check āpropertiesā to know if it is sorted from smaller to bigger of viceversa.
Itās only showing me the size in properties when I right click most seem small in size
I wish I knew whatās causing it to crash
I see hmmm. Can you try deleting the bigger ones, even if they seem small? If not, maybe only the ones you have downloaded lately.
I have hopes we will find the culprit among these 3D objects!
could these books be a big in size file?? The 1,201kb?
Iām unsure which file would be the object seeming thereās a few files in here?
I think the object is everything that is inside the folder, so you should have to delete the folder itself
Hello @sarahlasshes did you still have problems ? The suggestion of itsmechiie7 has helped you ?
Nope. Sadly 3d objects from canvas still crash my game, Iām not convinced anymore that Iād need a āhigh endā pc either, there are people who have spent over 2000 pounds on a pc just to run Inzoi and they are having severe issues with the game crashing even when they have followed every step from the Inzoi team. Something has to be done⦠I know the game is in early access and all but people are getting disappointed and frustrated that they canāt enjoy the game.
