Whole garden withered after the update

After I was just away with another household for a few ingame hours and when I returned after the update, their whole garden was withered.
Before I left this household, I checked and it was at 100% watered and 90 something fertilized.
Did this happen to someone else?

The tiles to make Grass and external floor totally broken in my gameplay after this updated. Also, no textures working on forniture made at craft table. I am playing at Mac Sequoia. I think we have to wait next update.

Oh, no! Now I’m afraid to open the save where my zoi has a vegetable garden. I’m so sorry this happened to you, I hope there’s a solution to this!

Yes, it’s the same for me. The plants wither very quickly, although I take good care of them.

Same for me. I’ve lost two lots of crops, plus the flooring in the front room. They’re all walking on dirt and there’s nothing I can do to replace it.

Ive had similar issues.

I just thought it was ā€˜where’ I was trying to garden. See I set farm plots on a paved surface.

But I had three plantings wither in a row. And yes I kept them watered.

Same here, and now I’m having an issue with crops withering INSTANTLY after planting.

Same…..

At first I though well maybe pumpkins are seasonal. Nope tomatoes and potatoes.

Plant them .. withered before you can even water them.

That already happened to me before the update. Especially if there had been a heatwave or floods.

In my case there hasn’t been a heatwave or flood

I sincerely hope they fix these little things in the next update. Because it really ruins the gameplay. I’m still not quite sure about the clothing textures, or maybe I haven’t quite figured out what to do yet. But I’ll let you know if I run into the harvesting problem, since I just planted pumpkins…

Same experience for me. immediately withered after planting and nothing will revive the crops, not even the premium fertilizer and special watering can.

Earlier on I did manage to get one crop of pumpkins but after harvesting those and replanting with regular tomatoes, potatoes, etc, they all withered immediately. The pumpkins were grown in spring while the others were planted in summer. Maybe the temperature difference is greatly exaggerated when calculating the health of crops? Dunno.

This made me thinking, because I’ve noticed puddles when we re-setup the garden even though there was no rain.
Maybe there was a glitch and the game put an ā€˜after disaster’ state on our saves?
There are also reports about disasters not ending so maybe there is a connection?

But until now, we haven’t experienced the plants withering directly after planting.
We’re playing with the 96 hours setting and the growth progress is under 5% so this might still happen ƶ.ƶ

I was just looking at the info for a regular carrot and it includes ā€œOptimum Growth Temperatureā€ is 15 - 21 C. Perhaps the Cahaya summer temperatures of 30 to 32 C is just too far beyond the optimum for the plant to grow at all? If so, maybe the devs could find a way to make that clearer when your Zoi checks the plant’s status, like thinking ā€œIt’s not growing. Maybe it’s too hotā€.

That would give players more of a clue what’s happening than just ā€œWitheredā€.

HI everyone (@here)!

  • :link: Crops may wither at an unusually fast rate.

The issue was fixed in v0.4.3.
Please create a new thread if you’re still experiencing this issues after the latest updates. :psycat_blush:
