When I move the slider to night (to the far right) in photo mode, weird ‘shadows’ appear on the plants
Also happens in build mode, cast shadows is enabled
In comparison when slider is moved to the left
Everything else in the house is fine.
It’s probably one of the settings, but this shouldn’t happen with any setting
When you’re moving the slider to the right, you’re making it nighttime, so it could be related to the Strange, Harsh Shadows on Objects when Realistic Shadows are ON issue I was having. These shadows only showed up at night for me.
The issue stopped happening in my game after the last update, but I kept the thread open just in case.
If the issue resolves after turning off Realistic Shadows in the Game Options, then it’s probably the same issue.
Yeah, tbh, I just try to ignore it for now. I reported the issue, and I know that shadows are still being optimized for the game, so I try not to think about it too hard lol Still better than the lighting we had at the start of Early Access release, that’s for sure… I hope it’ll get optimized more soon.
