Hardware Specifications & Operating System:
OS Version: Windows 11 25H2 (Build 26200.6584)
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super Aero 12GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen™ 9 7900X3D + MSI MAG CoreLiquid E360
RAM: Kingston Fury Beast RGB 32GBSteps to Reproduce:
- Go to Build Mode
- Select any item (either a default Inzoi item or a mod item)
- Place the item and adjust it’s position using ALT
- Confirm the placement after moving or tilting it while it’s red highlighted
- Save the game and reload it
- Observe that the item has either fallen through the surface (e.g. countertop, table, shelf, or desk) or reset to it’s default position instead of keeping it’s adjusted placement
-
Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.
- It happens in all my save files — both new games and continued ones.
-
Details:
- When placing items while holding ALT — even when the items are red highlighted — they stay exactly where you position them. However, after reloading the game, these items often fall through countertops, tables, or shelves depending on where they were placed. This issue has been present since the start of the Inzoi Beta and affects both regular Inzoi items and mod items (from the in-game mod tab).
- You can usually find the items on the floor if you remove the object they were placed on, but it’s quite annoying since you might not remember what was placed where. Items that fall under countertops are especially hard to spot, and if they end up under a normal desk or table, you can’t pick them up because the game selects the desk or table instead.
- Additionally, some items — especially mod items from the in-game tab — don’t only fall but also reset to their default position. For example, if you place a standing lamp and slightly tilt or move it, after reloading the game it snaps back to its original straight position.

My Personal Note:
-
It’s really nice that you can clutter items freely with ALT placement on shelves, tables, or desks, but it’s super frustrating because while you’re able to place items that are red highlighted and tilt them however you like, they just reset after reloading the game or fall through the surface anyway.
For example, imagine you’re decorating your kitchen: you place a microwave and a coffee machine on the countertop and there’s a bit of space left where you want to add a small plant. The plant is red highlighted and you can’t place it so you hold ALT to place it freely — it looks great and doesn’t block anything. But after reloading the game, that little plant ends up on the floor (hidden under the countertop), even though it wouldn’t have interfered with the microwave, coffee machine, or any gameplay at all.
I know that objects usually aren’t meant to be placed while they’re red highlighted, but in this case, it’s mostly small decorative items like candles, plants, or books that wouldn’t affect anything. I also know that shelves have specific snap slots, but being able to slightly tilt or offset items makes setups look more natural and aesthetic. It’s purely visual — nothing that would break gameplay. Since the game already has a free placement (ALT) feature, it would make sense for it to remember those adjustments instead of resetting or dropping the items after saving and reloading.
