Yes I agree, because when I build I place some bedroom/bathroom door backwards because that’s the direction the door should swing, I’m sure eventually someone’s going to post that here 
I posted a thread with my wish for doors in the Wishlist category.
I haven’t built in a lot of different games, but most of them let you put the door how you want, unless it’s marked a specific way (like public bathrooms, fancy locks, etc.). So, I’m used to just building and paying attention to architectural design. I will place the door from whatever side I’m looking at. Usually, I’m building from the inside. I put the front door on from the outside, but I might click to reverse it for the door handle position, and then that caused nonsense.
