Some ideas I think might be good for Inzoi:
Inzoi is an incredible game with a wonderful team, and I admire them so much for their transparency and for being so good, kind, amazing, and brilliant people who are always thinking about what can make this game even better.
One of the things you yourselves have mentioned is deepening the life simulation within the game. Below, I leave some ideas and suggestions that I hope you like and that can help make Inzoi an even better game. If you who are reading support any of these ideas, please like the post, so they will know that these suggestions are important to you too.
Buying your clothes at the store:
The Zoi should only have the clothes chosen in CAZ (Create-A-Zoi) when it was created, and if you want to have more clothes, it will be necessary to go to the clothing store and buy new clothes, adding the purchased clothes to your CAZ. It might be nice to include clothing mods there as well.
Initial tutorialfor players:
What is clear to one is not so clear to another. It would be good to have a simple, clear, and fast tutorial so players can learn how to play, also teaching them to use shortcuts and get to know things more easily, as I’ve seen happen a few times.
One example was when I saw a girl play and it was about the function of how to rent a boat; it took a long time to figure out how to rent it, and she only succeeded at the end. You could read about it in the written tutorial, but when playing, most people don’t enjoy reading a long text.
Therefore, really adding a simple and fast tutorial that doesn’t skip, even if we already know the game, we can learn something new, because people might skip it and later be lost on what they want to do and not know how, which I see happening a lot with the current in-game tutorial. The Sims 2 has an example of a fast, simple tutorial where we learn by playing.
The Sims 1 and The Sims 2 simulation:
The Sims 4 is good in terms of building and creating characters, but regarding simulation, I prefer The Sims 1 and 2, where the simulation has a wealth of detail, many unexpected actions that the Sims did autonomously that were exciting and surprising, sound effects, and humor that I only find there.
Some examples:
* Example 1: When your Sim’s fridge was empty, and we went to the market to restock food, and if you went to other stores, you would buy clothes, magazines, headphones, perfume, and we’d check out with the product in one hand and giving the money with the other.
* Example 2: When the child received their report card score, if the score was high, they would arrive running happily with the report card in hand, and if the score was bad, the child would arrive walking downcast to hand in the report card.
* Example 3: When the parents arrived from work, the children would run to hug their parents and welcome them.
* Example 4: If we wanted to enroll our child in a private, renowned school, we had to invite them to dinner, show them the rooms of the house, which had to be clean and have good furniture to prove the Sims had the means to put the child in that school. Also, in The Sims 2, there was an environment need, and Sims liked or disliked the decoration or if the place was dirty, the need would decrease. Continuing, besides presenting the rooms, we talked and prepared a dinner, like the headmaster’s favorite dish, Lobster Thermidor. We discovered the headmaster’s favorite dish by testing a few times. With this, points were accumulated from the conversation, rooms, and dinner, and the total had to be 90 points, and with that, your child could go to private school.
* Example 5: If you always left the child with low needs, not taking care of them, not cleaning, a social worker NPC would arrive and take the child away, removing them from your family. You could try to adopt the child over the phone, but it was difficult; they might have been adopted by another family.
* Example 6: In The Sims 1, besides all the humor, sound effects in interactions, including romantic ones, whether positive or negative, it was great, and it has unique objects and interactions that only exist there: the bear rug—though it wouldn’t need to be that nowadays—where you would lie down, talk to another Sim, kiss, like in romantic scenes in front of the fireplace; you could dance inside a cage that was exactly for that purpose, dancing, and it was hilarious; beach volleyball; there was an ice cream vendor who made the ice cream you chose and handed it to you; the cake that a dancer, or female dancer, would pop out of was hilarious; if you climbed the beanstalk, you would find the giant sleeping, and if you selected him, it indicated he was Will Wright, the game’s creator; free fall simulator—I loved putting my Sims there; the giant aquarium, where the Sim would enter in diving gear and spend time there, among many other things like trips, dates, model runway, which was very funny if you were an amateur lol, trying to be famous, amusement park. Anyway, The Sims 1 is full of charms, craziness, humor, and details that I haven’t found in the others.
I think I got excited on this topic, lol, but I wanted to point out some things that exist in these games. Oh, I also forgot to mention two more things that complement each other: the great use of expressive figures/images and animations, where even without knowing the language, we could understand what they meant. For me, they make a difference and make the game even better.

More expressive animations with theater actors:
I believe that using theater actors, capturing the face, speaking in Zoilish—I don’t know if that’s what it’s called, haha—and the movement simultaneously, with those motion capture suits like those from Rokoko Studio, which I believe you know or even already use, and the face capture with the iPhone using Live Link Face, which is already used in the game.
I believe they would deliver more expression and emotion in the animations, and the Zois’ speech would be more synchronized and consistent with the animation since the face capture was done at the same time as the animation, and we players could capture the emotion and what they mean better without resorting too much to the use of text.
Decrease/Optimization of dialogue options:
I feel that a decrease and optimization of some dialogues could be beneficial for Inzoi. Dialogues that could be in the same category, reduction of very specific dialogues that end up hindering a bit because it loses a bit of the playful feeling of imagining what they are talking about at that moment, uniting some dialogues into the same category, and one category for various types of actions.
Playing recently, to find some options, I felt a certain difficulty in finding them due to a vast list of categories and the long list of dialogue options, which are often unused due to being too specific and causing some genuinely interesting interactions to be hidden.
The repetition of animations for various topics that do not match the selected topic causes the meaning to be lost a bit and breaks the immersion.
I was going to give some examples here, but I forgot to write them down as soon as I saw them in the game. If I don’t write them here, you can also mention situations you went through or about any other suggestion I wrote in the post.
Sofa interactions:
Sofa interactions, whether romantic or not, should start appearing as options when we click directly on the sofa and with anyone sitting with your Zoi.
Example: I put my Zoi and the Zoi I want to do the action with together, so it is no longer necessary to have the option to choose who I want to have the action with, and I click on the sofa and choose for my Zoi to give a massage to the Zoi sitting next to them. If they have a sufficient relationship level for the action to happen, the action occurs normally, and if the relationship level is insufficient, the Zoi sitting with me will reject my Zoi, either by pushing them away or just showing a hand signal indicating no.
I believe that interactions together on the sofa would be more noticeable, we would have more stories to tell, and they could even be done autonomously, and this would generate an unexpected situation, which I believe would be a positive change for the game. Unexpected situations always shake up the game, and that’s very good.
Watching TV in Inzoi:
Playing recently, I remembered this situation that I forgot and ended up not talking about before. When the Zoi is watching TV, and they are sitting and not facing the TV, they don’t look at the TV, nor do they turn their head towards the TV. My Zoi was sitting at the table and watching TV, an autonomous action. I only noticed she was watching TV because I saw it in the task list, because she didn’t have much reaction; she was just smiling and sitting still in the chair without looking at the TV. It was a soap opera; it generated a sad emotion buff, but she was smiling. I found it quite strange when I saw it and thought it could be better, so I came here to make this suggestion:
* Suggestion 1: When our Zois, from wherever they are, turn their heads towards the TV, whether standing or sitting, and have more expressive reactions that are consistent with the situation they are watching. Even if the dominant emotion in our Zoi at the moment is joy, while watching the soap opera and getting emotional, we can see them emotional, whether crying, wiping away tears, or whatever they think is best, and add more sound effects to emphasize some Zois’ reactions, not only while watching TV or even in the programs shown on TV, but also in other situations; it could be very cool.
Still about watching TV, but about other situations that I believe would be good inclusions:
* Suggestion 2: I believe it would be interesting to add more different videos for TV programming and not always the same soap opera or reality show or any other program.
* Suggestion 3: Just as we can put YouTube videos on billboards/advertising panels, we should have the same option on TVs. It would greatly help creators who make series or movies with Inzoi or even us players to have our Zois watch something specific.
The return of cutscenes:
I liked the cutscenes that were in the game before. It would be interesting for them to return in important situations like the first kiss (for teenage or adult Zois), marriage proposal, and the Zois setting the mood next to the bed for the first time.
Setting the mood next to the bed:
It would be interesting if they changed the animation a bit. It would be cool if when they asked and the other Zoi accepted, they would go hand in hand, or not, but together, and go to the bed, sit together on the bed, kiss a bit, and they would cover themselves with the sheet, and the whole bed would move, whether by shaking or bouncing, and the heart animations would follow, not the big one, lol.
Delivery NPC:
It would be more immersive and realistic if at least when the Zois are at home, a delivery NPC appeared, arriving on a motorcycle or scooter
, getting off, and placing the delivery box at the Zoi’s front door, not near the mailbox. And if the Zoi bought many things, they would deliver about 3 or 4 boxes, and when the Zoi opened them, everything they ordered would be inside.
Censorship during bath time:
When Zois take a bath with a towel, I find it very strange for them to be in the shower or bathtub fully covered by a towel. It could just be a black bar covering or pixelation. I’ll leave some suggestions here, and you tell me what you think, and if you want, add suggestions too, lol. One of them I thought about writing in Zoilish, but I realized I’ve never seen anything written in the game’s language; it should exist, it would be good.
SpiralStaircase:
Please add the Spiral Staircase; there aren’t many reasons other than that I really like this staircase and I miss it in constructions, and it looks beautiful in constructions and works very well in small constructions too.
