Game crashes after loading a save

My specs are:

Game version: newest v0.4.5

Platform: Steam, Windows 11

Mods: never used, I think

Hardware Specs: Intel(R) Core™ i5-10400F CPU @ 2.90GHz (2.90 GHz) with 32GB RAM and 16GB AMD Radeon RX7800 XT

Operatin System: Windows 11 Pro

Issue date: 5.12.2025 and 6.12.2025 (I haven’t played for while… and I updated the game yesterday and I can’t play)

Error message: none

It happens whenever I try to open a saved game or a new one. It just closes the game.

I tried:

  1. Uninstalling the game

  2. Opening the game as administrator

  3. Deleting cache folders

  4. Deleting all folders in the different routes

  5. updating drivers

  6. Restarting PC

There were quite a few reports like yours from users running the game with computers that meet the minimum requirements.
Maybe with adding more features and objects, through updates and DLSs, the game gets more and more demanding?
The devs already mentioned they are going to make improvements so more people will be able to play (they are also planning to release on consoles, so there is hope) but we don’t know when.

What you could still try is, is to verify your game files via steam.
