Syncing Mods Between Computers

  • I play on two comptuters, a main desktop and a gaming laptop when I travel. I’m trying to sync the mods I’m using between the two computers. I copied the “Documents\InZoi\Mods folder from my desktop to my laptop. When I start the game on my laptop, most of the mods are deleted from MODS folder and show as not installed.
  • The mods are deleted immediately on game startup, before I click on anything in game like the mod manager so I’m not making it to the “Sync” screen and accidently deleting them there.

I’m not 100% sure but I think your topic would be best placed in the Q&A category. Don’t worry about it, the devs / staff can move it later on if they agree.

From the little I know about how mods work in the game, I don’t think copying the folder from one directory to another is intended. I’m afraid you have to manually install all the mods you want on both setups seperately. This has something to do with how the game validates and opens the mod files, I guess.

Is there any chance that you can simply write down the names of the mods you’re using / or of the authors if you use multiple mods from one author? You might write it down in a notes app on your phone or a text file on each setup, so you always have it with you in case you need it?

This also happens to me.

I want to sync mods from my PC to my laptop but as @AwesomeIcey mentioned, somehow the game is always deleting MODS content when the game start.

This problem also happens when I re-installed my PC 2 months ago. I made back up my mods, but the game keeps deleting them. I decided to give up and re-download them again (like hundred).
