I wish my Zoi wouldn't commit crimes while I'm not playing them

I wish my Zois wouldn’t commit crimes while I’m not playing them, or at least there was an option to allow or disallow it.

I just switched families (I play in rotation) and found one of my teen Zois in jail  . I looked in the house information and her messages and it says she was taken to the police station for a crime, but it doesn’t specify which one.

I would like to know what it was.

I second this, this is story progression in the worst way -.-

I also second this.

Happened to me yesterday.
I really WISH we could turn that kind of misdeeds off.
Like it was before the patch was there. I remember many of us asking for this even before this came to be.

Like an option in the menu “No criminal activity” which would include thieves coming to your property.

My Zois randomly kick vending machines when autonomy is on… it’s annoying and the funny part is whenever I notice it I cancel the action YET the police still comes to you even if the action did not happen. That’s just broken.

My Zois are not criminals.

Also employees… that should be disabled by default for employees that are currently working.

I also wish my Zois would not die while I am not actively playing their families. I am allergic to death. I have already turned aging off and improved city safety, sanitation, health and all. Still…

Maybe the

immortalZoi true

cheat helps?

Dear Devs,

Dear Kjun,

As many of us have been requesting since the October update, please add a Game Option setting to turn off criminal behavior and criminal activity. And add more positive side of humanity to the game.

Many of us like to play the game wherein we live a quite, pleasing, peaceful life creating stories of which we are in control.

Since the past few updates, (under the idea of making the game more realistic), adding the bad, unwanted characteristics and crime related features to the game has received more focus; which now has got to a point that it encroaches upon and disturbs the “good side” of the game.

Many of us want to create stories that build relationships, bring joy and work and play together with other zois in the game. Players like us do not want burglars, prisons, divorces, cheating and spying on spouses, anger at strangers, picking fights, hitting strangers, kicking bins and vending machines and living a life of crime. Most of us did not pick the Life Sim game for crime and cheating; there are other game genres for that kind of material.

This game had (and I think still does have) a teen rating. Do we want teens to play crime in a computer game as well? Does real life not have enough violence? Do we want teens and our children to kick vending machines in public places or do we want them to manage their emotions, discuss with elders and friends and turn around to have a positive outlook?

There are several players that want goodness in the game. It is just that such players are quiet by nature and are not very vocal about this issue. And that is the reason such topic-threads do not get as many upvotes as they should. (There are other related threads on this topic).

Please do not say that many players voted for crime in the game. Most did not.

In short, give us an option to turn off crime. Not a cheat, a game level option. And please start adding “good human characteristics” to the game.

Thank you!

It happened to me again today  .

Zoi’s mother who was arrested yesterday was at Café Mar with two friends. Small note, yesterday she had no reaction to her daughter’s arrest who is a teen.

At the café she was with two girlfriends: one of the girlfriends, a Zoi of mine from another family gets up, does something I don’t notice, a danger icon appears on the head of the third friend and she, on her own, makes a phone call. Also in the queue of my played Zoi the “report” action appears. The police arrive, put invisible handcuffs on her and the Zoi disappears. I go check in her family and obviously she’s in jail. What stress!!!

On top of that she’s the mother of 3 between babies and toddlers.

I so agree and it’s sad for me the game is going down that road.

The poll about playstyles shows that 40% of the participants see themselves as story tellers who want a certain level of control in their game

The poll ‘How much chaos do you want in inZOI?’ poll even showed that the majority wants to manage their Zois themselves

And another poll sadly revealed that 100% of the voters think not all players are heard/represented on discord
