More residential lots per town/can easily interact with Zois living in other towns

I currently have Sims 4 with many (about 100) characters I’ve had for years. They live spread across a few towns in the game but pop up on community lots etc. and can visit easily any time. I used to have them in a custom world I made in Sims 3. I would love to be able to have them either live in multiple towns and appear around each other anyway, and be able to move towns easily in one save (as if the towns are nearby) or have more residential lots (even small) in the town so they can have a little neighborhood of my sims. That way, I can move over to Inzoi!
