What's the difference between 'sleep' and 'keep on sleeping'?

My Zoi did not sleep before, but there is a ‘keep on sleeping’ option when I click on the bed.
No matter if I chose ‘sleep’ or ‘keep on sleeping’, he just lies down an sleeps.
What might be the difference - or the reason why there are two options?

The only difference I can find is the text in the action bar :psycat_sleepy:

Zoi Sleeping are subjected to the artificial routines that will wake them up before 11pm or after 8am

Keep Sleeping bypass that code, and your zoi keeps sleeping.
