Morning routine: needs improvement (and so does going to school).

It seems we’ve already discussed this, but I’m having some difficulty with the “search” function because of the language issue. I imagine the search is done with words in the original language, and searching for “routine” doesn’t show me the posts I thought I remembered.

The morning routine of the Zois is often a hindrance and a complication.

My Zois wake up fairly early and I check on them to have their needs met. For example, the first one to wake up prepares a multi-portion breakfast so they don’t all have to cook or eat ready-made meals.

The problem is that, after already eating, with their hunger need at maximum, many Zois go to get more stuff from the fridge to “satisfy the hunger need,” which doesn’t actually exist. I have to check on them and put away things they’ve already pulled out (because, even if you interrupt the action, they complete it), with dishes left lying around.

The same goes for personal hygiene: it doesn’t matter if the need is full, the Zoi will jump in the bathtub.

Even if the “go to school” commitment has already been triggered.

The “go to school” commitment often triggers when children and teens should already be at school. I often see them arriving around 9:30 or later. It doesn’t trigger for all those in the same age group at the same time, I don’t understand what it’s based on.

Arriving late has no consequences (and instead it should).

My solution is to give an option in the menu to disable those routines.
I have to fight with them every morning and sometimes evening.

It’s a waste of time
It’s annoying
It’s not fun
and it forces artificial gameplay

Just let us shut them down.
Once they are fixed I MAY turn them on in the menu to test them again.
