I would love to see more shopping boutiques added to inZOI, along with the flexibility to either own a store or simply edit and customize it as part of the world. Retail spaces are a huge part of city life, and having multiple unique boutiques would make neighborhoods feel more realistic, social, and alive.
More Shopping Boutiques: The world should include a variety of smaller, specialized boutiques such as clothing shops, furniture stores, décor shops, beauty stores, concept shops, and niche retailers. Having multiple boutiques spread throughout the city would make shopping feel intentional and exploratory rather than limited to a few locations.
Option to Own a Boutique or Not: Players should be able to choose whether they want to own and operate a boutique or simply exist in the world as a shopper. Not every player wants to manage a business, but many still want beautifully designed, functional stores to visit. This flexibility would support different playstyles without forcing ownership gameplay.
Editable Stores Without Ownership: Even if a Zoi does not own a boutique, players should be able to edit and customize retail lots. This would allow players to shape the city’s aesthetic, redesign stores to match different neighborhoods, and create unique shopping districts without needing to run every business themselves.
Multiple Stores in the Same World: It would be great to have multiple boutiques of the same or different types coexisting in the world. This would prevent the city from feeling repetitive and allow different areas to develop their own retail identities, such as luxury districts, creative areas, or everyday shopping streets.
Flexible & Adjustable Lot Types: Lot types should be adjustable and flexible, allowing spaces to be converted into different uses such as boutiques, cafés, galleries, offices, studios, or mixed-use spaces. This would give players more creative freedom and allow the world to evolve naturally over time as neighborhoods change.
