[1.16.26] Issue with Alt Key and Grid Snapping Post Version 0.4.0 Update

I love building more than playing! I really like the small grid snapping feature! :heart_decoration: Future feature presented by Kjun!:+1: But I have a huge request for the developers: please don’t forget to properly bind the [Alt] key to the grid. :folded_hands: Currently, when objects collide or intersect with each other with grid snapping enabled, the [Alt] key disables snapping. This behavior started after the [Version 0.4.0] update, when the “Smart Object Snapping” feature with the [X] key was added. Before this update, everything worked correctly. I didn’t report this as a bug because I was confident it was a temporary measure and inZOI has big plans for this feature!

Alt works great imo except on desk, counters and tables because these have hot spots and do not allow free placing like on floors.

Snapping Enabled! When moving an object to another location, it moves along snapping squares of 1.0 or 0.5 (recent update). If you press the [Alt] key while moving the object, it detaches from the grid and no longer snaps to it.

If you rotate an object in place and press the [Alt] key, the object remains snapped to the grid.

So the bug only affects moving the object along the coordinate axes.

Everything worked correctly before the Cahaya release.

In another author’s thread that I attached to my post, there is a photo that shows this bug.

But all builders are fine with this bug, so everyone just ignores it.
