I am not sure what to think of it or understand why this might be the case. Thus I am not sure if this is a bug or intended. I would appreciate your experience and if you think this should be logged as a bug and if it is the same in your games?
My Zoi is currently operating a shop, kind of an Art Center, herself and as there are not yet as many customers she was improving her own painting skills during operating hours. I wanted to sell some of the slightly better paintings and noticed that she would need to quite massively downsell her painting when filing it up on Pocket Market. The offered Pocket Market price is way below the base value of the painting:
I tested it several times. Always the case. Also after the operating hours of the shop. And if you let the sale happen you really get the lower amount. Normally you are always getting a higher price when selling via Pocket Market.
First I thought it is a save file bug but then tested on the home lot and here it is still the normal way. You get more when selling on Pocket Market compared to the base value.
So why is that? Is it a bug? Is it the same for you all?
I fully understand that for paintings painted by customers we are not even able to file them on Pocket Market but why would a painting painted by you on your own business lot be sold for only half of its value?
