Hello everyone. I have some questions, my game has been failing for a few days and running slowly. I disabled ray tracing in case that was it and it didn’t work. Then I updated my graphics card drivers and it seemed like I could play almost without problems. The next day I wanted to play again and the problem came back. I think it’s after the latest update. But now I don’t know what else I can change or modify to be able to play properly. If you could lend me a hand, I would really appreciate it
I’m sorry this issue keeps you from enjoying the game properly. Did you already try to tune down or even disable AI frame generation? It should be listed in the graphics settings titled something like “frame generation” (probably next to the DLSS / FSR / Xess part).
Try clearing the cache from in-game, NVidia and DX. Also lower the use of high-res textures if any, in stuff downloaded from Canvas (in outfits, wall textures, picture frames) or in your own builds
To delete cache, see steps 3, 5, and 6 from this post
Also, check if recently any other program has been running concurrently in the background that could be using up resources – such as a virus full scan.
Turn off Windows Search indexing.
Ensure that all unnecessary applications are off. Especially steam overlay, any performance/FPS tracking programs etc.
Ensure that the edge browser and/or chrome browser are not semi-active in the memory.
Edge Settings > System and Performance
Disable extensions from running in the background
Performance > Disable Always keep sites active
Performance > Enable gaming boost
Thank you both so much! Later I’ll try to do that to the best of my abilities hahaha since I don’t understand much. If I see improvements I’ll let you know. Last night I updated the drivers again and it ran smoothly again even with ray tracing enabled.
