Hi INZOI Team,
it’s been a year now (and maybe some months more), the game is in early access.
I really like the atmosphere and potential of the game, but still, the current relationship and dating systems feel very unfinished and frustrating.
Here are the main issues I experienced:
Major Problems:
Relationship & Dating System – Major Issues (Early Access Feedback)
-
Zois often do not show up to scheduled meetings (agreed upon on smartphone).
-
Even when two Zois are in a committed romantic relationship, they rarely meet naturally without manual scheduling.
-
Dating in general feels unreliable and inconsistent.
-
Partner Zois often run away mid-interaction because their routine overrides the relationship.
-
It is nearly impossible to progress intimacy, even when both Zois are “deeply in love” (e. g.: my Zoi always gets rejected, even if they are at “true love” and level is on top!).
-
Zois in relationships still flirt with other Zois, with no clear loyalty or consequence system.
-
There is no clear way to locate your partner or understand their daily routine.
-
Romantic Zois appear randomly, not based on relationship priority.
Result: Relationships feel emotionally disconnected from gameplay.
Being a couple does not meaningfully change daily behavior, encounters, or priorities.
Suggestion:
-
Relationship status should influence spawn behavior and routines.
-
Partners should naturally appear more often near each other.
-
Dating and intimacy systems need clearer rules and feedback.
-
Loyalty and relationship boundaries need stronger logic
Calendar & Scheduling Problems (very frustrating):
-
Even after clearing all existing calendar entries, it is sometimes impossible to schedule a romantic date.
-
Planned dates are not added to the calendar, or are silently discarded.
-
The game blocks new events by saying there is already something in the calendar, even if the times do NOT overlap.
For example:
If one activity ends at 1:00 PM, the game still prevents scheduling a new date at 4:00 PM.
This makes it feel like the calendar system does not support sequential events, only a single rigid block.
I really hope these systems are improved before full release, because they are central to a life simulation game.
Thanks for listening to community feedback.
