4060 Ti 8gb and engine update?

Well, definitely not better, but as I said, more colorful now, the light looks redder and the shadows look bluer. No chromatic aberration, lack of Lumen indirect shadowing (surface cache shading).

I don’t know what the Lumen surface cache shortage is, but looking more carefully, I actually notice it on my end too:

- more color, furthermore

  • Better visual quality for long hair.
  • Generally there’s more fluidity.
  • I’m deliberately pushing my graphics card to maximum settings and, unlike the other version, the PC doesn’t struggle for breath and doesn’t get rather hot.

On the other hand, there are some bugs and after three hours some minor lag (which I had before anyway).

Please keep me updated on your observations and changes :folded_hands: I haven’t left character creation mode in months and I’d really like to understand what’s improving. I might not notice it without your observations.

I meant cases where some objects remain unshaded (for example, distant trees looking very washed‑out), or when there’s generally too little samples of bounced light, so shadows feel less volumetric. Ideally, the facade corner in the shadow should be darker, the ā€œblackā€ tree leaves should appear lighter, maybe there’s should be more highlights from glass or metal glare, something like that.

Yeah, I’m running everything on ultra settings on my laptop and I’m not seeing major issues. Overall, performance has increased by about 1.5x for me.

Right now CAZ has a problem with hair strands rendering, they leave dark trails on the background during fast movement.

@RealmOfZoi Yes, I noticed some graphic improvement, especially with the lighting. I feel like the game is ā€œless darkā€, if that makes any sense. But the bigger improvement is definitely performance, the game starts, loads, runs and closes faster than before, and so far no crashes. That’s probably because we’re not able to use mods at the moment, but still, it’s working way better than it was, gameplay is smoother, therefore more immersive and fun. I’m currently in the process of upgrading my computer, so meanwhile I’m playing Inzoi and my other games on my laptop, which has an Nvidia RTX 3060 graphic card, so the engine update improvements definitely helped me.

Sorry I missed your question before, I hope it’s not too late to answer it. if there’s anything else I can help with I’d be glad to.
